I have graduated from the University of Oxford with a 2.1 in Philosophy and Theology. Prior to attending Oxford, I achieved A*A*A* in English Literature, Latin and Religious Studies, with 5 A*S, 4 Grade 9s and a Grade 8 in GCSEs.
For the past few years, I have been a private tutor which has also entailed mentoring young students and seeing them progress and achieving their dream spots at their universities. This has enabled me to build client relationships and to handle multiple concurrent tasks, since I balanced tutoring with my ability to thrive in Oxford’s rigorous academic environment. I also believe that I work well under time constraints and to meet deadlines, which is an ability that my time at Oxford has prepared me well for.
I am well-placed to provide tuition at 11 and 13+, as well as English Language, English Literature and RE GCSE, A-Level and degree-level tuition. I am also up-to-date on examination syllabi and the requirements needed for achieving top marks.
I have tutoring experience in GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature, GCSE Religious Studies and Oxbridge Classics admissions. I also mentor students in application for Oxbridge Classics, as I changed degrees in my third year, and assisted a student in her successful entrance to Oxford for Classics via personal statement, interview/test advice and general information about the course and university life. Therefore, I am available to support Oxbridge Classics admissions.
I completed an AS Level award in English Literature and A Levels in History, Psychology and Art and Design. I then achieved a 2:1 in BSc Applied Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University in 2014. In 2018, I successfully completed a PGCert from the University of Birmingham in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions, and in 2021 I qualified as a teacher of Art and Design.
I am a creative-thinking and motivated individual looking for a new challenge to broaden my horizons. I have previously worked as a psychological talking therapist, and I am also a qualified secondary teacher with extensive experience in schools; which has led me to my current role as an SEN tutor for adolescents who are refusing school attendance. My role is to provide them with the emotional support and encouragement needed to return to school, as well as helping them to learn and revise all curriculum material needed to pass their exams. I relish the opportunity to build positive relationships with others, as this is what motivates me, and I love to see meaningful changes which lead to bright futures; as a result of the work that myself and others have put in. I believe that in order to overcome any challenge, the first step is to identify the barriers to change. This requires the development of trusting relationships with students, as well as their parents and key staff members at their enrolled schools. Once these barriers are identified, we are able to collaboratively come up with a tailored plan to integrate students back into school.
Hi! I’m an enthusiastic English and Drama tutor based in London. I personally went through the iGCSE and IB systems, so I know exactly what you are going through with your academics! But my skills and teaching styles are adaptable for all kinds of curriculums and age groups.
I finished secondary school with a 41 in the IBDP, with 7s in HL Theatre and English Language & Literature. In 2023, I graduated from UCL with a degree in English and multiple academic commendations throughout my time. I was taught to think beyond the mark scheme and to learn a skill that is specific to the way we each see the world – and this is the way I teach.
I can also tutor for drama school (musical theatre), UCAS/US university personal statements. Outside of tutoring, I am a professional actor who has also worked in the advertising world.

Hi, I’m Imaan. I’m a fifth year medical student at the University of Plymouth, I know the interview process inside out and I know that it takes A LOT of determination. I have independently achieved all my medical school offers and thats why I know that although it seems impossible, there’s always a way to achieve your dreams and I’m here to help you find it! I have lots of experience coaching students and am easy to talk to. I have had to deal with the daunting experience of applying to medical school, independently, including; taking the UCAT exam twice! This has taught me everything there is to know about the test and I have developed many tips and tricks. I am also a foundation student and this pathway requires a lot of thought and planning, I’d be happy to answer any questions regarding any of the unconventional pathways to medicine. My motto is always being there to help, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask them!
Hello, I’m Talhah Bin-Islam—a highly driven biomedical science graduate preparing to begin Graduate Entry Medicine at the University of Nottingham. I am deeply passionate about education, academic excellence, and mentoring the next generation of achievers. I have extensive tutoring experience across a wide range of subjects, supporting students from 11+, KS2, KS3, GCSE, A-Level, and beyond. I also specialize in university preparation, including medical school applications at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
My approach is not just about delivering knowledge but building strategic thinking, resilience, and long-term success. I believe in creating high-impact results by tailoring learning to each student’s aspirations. With a strong foundation in medicine, education, and personal development, I bring energy, precision, and ambition to every session. I am committed to helping every student unlock their full potential and push beyond what they believe is possible.
I am a medical student at the University of Leeds. I have had experience supporting students through the medical admission process including the UCAT, personal statement, and the interview process. I have also tutored GCSE science, history as well as KS3 core subjects. I also have experience supporting SEN students. At each stage of my academic journey, I initially struggled but crafted methods to achieve high GCSEs, A -levels and UCAT score. I understand the frustration of struggling academically and so want to help students achieve their potential and aims.
I applied to a broad mix of medical schools and made some mistakes along the way so believe I am in a good position to help younger students avoid these mistakes. Outside of my studies and tutoring, I continue with a range of hobbies including Violin, Piano and assisting the direction of a musical theatre production.
