I discovered the opportunity of studying in Italy by chance and took the risk to apply. I succeeded and got in with a very good score after three years of suffer and effort. I’m a second year medical student in Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro in Italy, in a journey of helping others, while developing myself in a professional and personal way. With a determined and curious mind, mainly in the medical and research field, I’m opened to joining innovative experiences and opportunities. I have experiences with most entrance medical exams all over Italy, from private to public universities, such as Humanitas University, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, UniCamillus International Medical University in Rome and the IMAT exam, all of which I have been admitted to. Coming from Brasil, a country with a completely different High School curriculum from Europe, I had to find the best and most high yield method and materials to study for each of those particulars exam, and after succeeding in those, I wish to help prospective students from all over the world to achieve this dream as well. Additionally to studies, I have been through the whole documentation process to study in Italy, field in which I can also be a support. As an Irish student, I found it difficult to find help for the exam as it didn’t seem like a popular choice amongst Irish school leavers. I’d love to pass on the wisdom I’ve gained from my own preparation to do well in the exam and getting into my dream course at the University of Turin to study Medicine.

From studying the clinical sciences at third level I’ve gained an in-depth knowledge of the topics covered in the IMAT. My teaching focuses on thorough understanding rather than learning by rote. No potential topic will be left uncovered and much focus will be given to topics that come up every year.

Having sat the exam twice and learned from my own mistakes I’ll provide tried and tested strategies to tackle the paper head-on!
