Hi! I’m Rosie, a recent graduate in Human Sciences at Oxford University. I have been tutoring for over 5 years and have accumulated over 500 hours’ experience spanning a wide range of subjects and ages. I specialise in one-to-one tuition in GCSE and A level maths and biology and Oxbridge application support for Human Sciences and related fields, such as Biology or Natural Sciences). I am originally from London, but currently living in Baltimore while pursuing a master’s in Biostatistics at Johns Hopkins University. I’m interested in all things public health, and hope to work in the public sector after finishing my master’s.
I love tutoring as it is an opportunity to help students build their confidence and start to enjoy a subject, sometimes for the first time. I know all too well how stressful public exams in particular can be, so I aim to ease some of that anxiety by providing 1:1 tailored support and passing on advice from my own experiences. Having gone through university applications myself, I can also help students prepare for admissions statements, tests, and interviews.
Aside of academics, I enjoy wild swimming, jogging, and playing tennis. I also play clarinet in an orchestra and saxophone in a (very mediocre) band. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, my name is Ips. I’m an undergraduate Biomedical Science student from the UK.
I am creative, adaptable, and forward-thinking, with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to develop and manage relationships.
I am an ambitious, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual looking to develop my academic skills in the professional world of healthcare and science. I am also a keen learner in all fields and aspects. Further to add, I am adept at public speaking and am receptive to change, and willing to learn and take on board exciting challenges.
I like writing and have written several unpublished short books and articles. Aside from my love of traveling, I also enjoy playing sports and reading. If I’m missing, then it’s best to look for me in the kitchen whipping together a tasty meal or punching the bag at my gym for the extra pump of endorphins and dopamine.
I’m often found dawdling in the world of academic creativity. As a nerd who doesn’t always ace her exams, I’m always there for a good conversation with a strong espresso at hand 🙂

Hi, I’m Lillie! I achieved A*s in A-level Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Economics before going on to study Biomedical Sciences at the University of Oxford, where I graduated with a First Class degree. I was also awarded the Academic Exhibitioner Prize by Balliol College for consistent academic excellence, and I enjoy bringing this same passion for education into my role as a tutor. As President of Oxford’s Biomedical Sciences Society, I have a passion for science, something I am keen to share with my students.
I’ve been tutoring A-level students for several years and really enjoy helping them feel more confident in their subjects and reach their full potential, with one parent kindly giving the following feedback: “Lillie has been an absolutely outstanding tutor. We have been incredibly impressed with the level of detail, commitment and time she has given.”

I am a final-year medical student with over five years of experience teaching Science at a high level, specialising in Biology, Chemistry, and medical sciences. Alongside private tutoring, I have taught within medical school, delivering structured sessions in anatomy, physiology, and clinical skills to junior students. This has refined my ability to explain complex material with clarity and precision.
My teaching is built on developing a deep understanding of core principles and translating this into strong exam performance. I focus on structuring knowledge clearly, identifying gaps quickly, and training students to apply concepts effectively to unfamiliar questions. Particular emphasis is placed on exam technique, including how to interpret questions, structure high-mark answers, and perform consistently under timed conditions.
I have worked with a range of students, from those requiring structure and confidence to high-achieving candidates aiming for top grades and competitive school or university entry. My sessions are efficient, tailored, and results-driven, with a clear focus on measurable progress and long-term academic improvement.
