I am Uday Modhwadia, a recent graduate of the prestigious University of Cambridge. My academic journey at Cambridge has equipped me with a solid foundation in Economic Geography and urbanism, which I am eager to apply in a professional capacity. One of my key strengths is my ability to dissect and comprehend intricate themes within various subfields of geography, including post-colonial studies.

My time at Cambridge was a transformative experience that instilled in me a profound appreciation for the significance of education and knowledge dissemination. It is this appreciation that fuels my desire to work as a tutor, guiding and inspiring others to unlock their full potential and attain their academic aspirations.

Hi there! I’m Candice and I’ve recently graduated from Oxford (St John’s) reading Geography. Before this, I achieved 3 A*s and an A in French, Spanish, Geography and English Literature at A-Level. Whilst at Oxford, I helped mentor prospective students through the admissions process for Geography and so understand the Oxbridge admissions process thoroughly. I also have lots of tutoring experience for GCSE and A-Level students. I understand that every student learns in different ways and speeds so I will adapt every session to your goals and progress throughout so you feel as comfortable and prepared as possible whether that’s solidifying your knowledge of Geography as a whole or tackling tricky interview questions and admissions tests. I also think an integral part of nailing the admissions process is being really confident in talking about your subject which can feel really foreign and braggy at first so I hope to use the skills gained over my degree and my previous tutoring experiences to be a comforting and passionate companion along this journey. I have been tutoring for over 5 years now, working with a range of students of all ages (4-17), levels of ability, and educational needs. In particular I have enjoyed mentoring my clients throughout their KS2 SATS, GCSE`s, A-Levels, and university entrance exams. I have also supported multiple students throughout their entire application process for university, particularly Oxbridge.

I have a particularly strong eye for detail and enjoy marking and providing feedback regarding personal statements, coursework and homework.

I have mentored several students throughout the Oxbridge process, equipping them with unique and knowledgeable insights, as well as helping them to be confident and competent at Interview. Four of my former students are now current undergraduates at Oxford University.

I have helped mentor several students throughout their UCAS applications – all of my Russell Group clients have achieved their First Choice university.

I am a recent graduate from the University of Leeds with a First Class Honours in BA Geography and going onto study a Masters Degree in Conflict and Development in September. I have a great passion for education and would love to help other students reach their full potential academically. I have in the past struggled at school to achieve my full potential and looking back now, it was the support from tutors and certain teaching styles that led to me receiving all 7,8,9s at GCSE and a full set of A*s at A-Level, despite the impacts of being a student during the pandemic. I work part time alongside my studies at a bar and often work in a team of people who range in ages whilst serving customers from a range of backgrounds, massively aiding my communication skills. Coming from a family of teachers and having done work in schools I am aware of the difficulties faced by a lot of young people today and would love to help students enjoy learning and reach their full potential.
