👋🏼Hey!
🩺 I am currently a 4th year medical student in London, with a passion to share what I have learnt with others!
📚To get to where I am today, I have a taken the UCAT examination and HPAT examination to gain entry into a Medical university in the UK and Ireland, respectively. After getting into my dream course in London, I decided to take up tutoring subjects such as UCAT, HPAT, medical interviews and refining personal statements. I have been a tutor for over 3 years now, and I thoroughly enjoy working with other students:)
👩🏻🏫I am currently a Clinical Skills Peer Tutor at my university. Here, I teach other students how to carry out fundamental skills they will need for their future careers as Medical Practitioners.
🎹Aside from medical schools, I am also a qualified Piano teacher, and have a strong passion for music theory and composition. I have had the pleasure of teaching younger students online how to find their way around a piano and play songs to surprise their family and friends.
👥Through all these experiences, I have developed a well-rounded personality and I have learnt various learning styles. I am able to adapt my teaching style to suit each individual student’s needs, so you can gain a deep and holistic understanding of your subject.
🎯My main aim is to help you reach your aspirations and achieve your dreams. By working alongside me, I can give you my tips and tricks to ace your UCAT/HPAT examination, and wow the interviewers!
Hi! I can offer help with the GAMSAT, GCSE English and Spanish and also the HPAT if needed. I did my undergraduate in UCD in English with a specialisation in Spanish.
GAMSAT:
Despite not having a science background, I managed to raise my section 3 score by 15 points over two sittings, which, along with my high section 1 and 2 scores, was enough for entrance to medical school in Ireland. I sat the GAMSAT twice myself. I used a wide variety of resources and tried a few different study styles and approaches to the exam. I have a way of approaching each question which worked for myself and a friend who I tutored, and which will hopefully work for you! I have an approach to section 2 that I haven’t heard from anyone else but which appears to work. I also know a lot of people who sat the GAMSAT and I can tell you the various approaches to section 2 I heard. I know how frustrating GAMSAT can be so I really hope I can provide some insight into the exam and help you get into medical school! I’m currently in UL so if anyone is interested in going there I can answer any questions you have!
GCSE Spanish/English:
Along with my undergraduate I lived in Spain every summer between the ages of 11 and 17 so I can definitely help you out if you’re looking for a Spanish tutor! I also have some experience teaching a foreign language as I teach English to children at weekends.

My name is Kate and I am an ambitious student of medicine at University College Cork, a hockey player and a sailing instructor with a strong work ethic. I believe that hard work pays off but also that having fun with friends and family is an equally important aspect to life. I used this mindset to achieve 625 points in my leaving cert whilst also leading a social and active lifestyle. To this day I still play hockey competitively with college and enjoy going out with my friends. I understand that the HPAT is difficult to begin with but I strongly believe that vast improvement is possible with practice. At the beginning I struggled to figure out the question styles but with lots of practice I achieved the 92nd percentile in the final exam. I would love to share with you some of the tips and tricks I picked up along the way!!
My name is Joseph Ribbon, and I am an Irish first-year medical student at the University of Leicester. I chose this school after receiving offers from Leicester, Plymouth, Queens University Belfast, and Liverpool, as I was drawn to the diverse city and high-quality medical education at Leicester.
My main tutoring expertise includes Medical Interviews, UCAT, Mathematics, Computer Science, Further Mathematics, and Biology. I have experience tutoring Mathematics, Computer Science, and Biology for OCR, AQA, and EdExcel exam boards, and I have custom notes prepared for each board.
I am currently the student point of contact between Leicester Medical School Staff and internal transfer students to Medicine organising mock MMI circuits, application preparation lectures and liaisoning with the Natural Sciences department & Career Development centres.
In my (limited 🙁 ) free time, I enjoy weightlifting at the gym and socialising with friends. My medical interests include Trauma & Orthopaedics, Cardiology, and Clinical Education.
I achieved perfect scores in both the Junior Certificate (Irish equivalent of GCSE) and Leaving Certificate (Irish equivalent of A-Levels) before COVID. I also scored 3000+ on the UCAT and ranked third in my class throughout my software engineering degree. Currently, I am in the top 10% of my year at medical school.
To date, I have completed over 100 hours of tutoring for MedicMind and successfully guided more than 25 candidates in securing offers. Many of my students were unsuccessful in their first interview attempt, but with my guidance, they often went on to receive at least two offers.
Before pursuing medical studies, I qualified and worked as a Software Engineer in the telecommunications industry, earning a 1.1 BSc in Computer Science. I understand how daunting applying to medical school can be, especially while managing a full-time job. I have developed efficient interview preparation methods, which I believe have been a significant help to students I have prepared for interviews in the past.
Applying to Medical School while studying for A-Levels can be challenging, but with proper time management, you can make your dreams a reality. Although the interview process involves some subjectivity, I believe in thorough research and targeted preparation to ensure no stone is left unturned.
I have experience in consulting on personal statement construction and CVs, and I am happy to help students prepare personal statements for their university choices. Selecting the right medical school can be difficult due to information overload, but I am here to help students create a strategic application plan.
My name is Patrick, I am from County Leitrim, and I am studying Medicine in Galway.
I sat the HPAT three times, and having scored high enough my third time around, I feel like I have learned all the tricks of the trade! The exam is about endurance, stamina, confidence and belief. People who score high in the HPAT are not all the same; there is no ideal brain for this exam. The HPAT must be tackled in a way that works for you, and confidence is key. Having taken different approaches to the exam each year, I feel I have the skill to work with a student in a way that works for them, improving both their strengths and weaknesses.
So many students have the ability to become great doctors, I’m here to help them get over this hurdle and on the right track.
My favourite subject in Medicine is all things Anatomy! When I’m not in lectures, I love swimming in Salthill or going for walks along the shore. I am very involved in our universities Musical society, I love performing and working with a large cast!

I am 3rd year ScotGEM postgraduate medical student in medical course that is affiliated between St Andrews and Dundee medical school. My undergraduate degree is in Biomedical science in NUIG where I majored in pharmacology. After university, I worked as a Sales Representative for a pharmaceutical company in Ireland. However, my heart was always set on studying medicine. To fulfil my dreams, I decided to apply to study medicine. Studying medicine is such a unique experience to studying any other degree. It is so rewarding to help patients and work alongside other inspiring medics. It is honestly worth the hard-work and dedication required to get into medical school. Outside of medicine I am a massive sports fanatic and do a range of sports including football, running, and cycling. This has really enabled me to apply myself better to studying medicine. Received a 1.1 grade in 4th year medical school finals.
