I loved my experience with Study Mind. The tutors were very friendly, and I liked how they tailored the approach to my weaknesses, with regular homework and testing in between the Zoom 1-1 lessons.

Hi there! My name is Grace and I have recently finished a French Literature MSt at Keble College, Oxford, for which I received a Distinction. I also completed a History and French BA for my undergraduate at Somerville College, Oxford and got a First Class. I’ve been tutoring for several years now so I have lots of experience, and I really enjoy being able to help students wherever I can. I’ve always put my academic studies first, and I know how important it is to do your best in exams; I find it extremely rewarding when I can help students to achieve this. Having got all A*s in GCSE and A-Level, and successfully passed through Oxford’s rigorous admissions process, I know first-hand what is required to do well at all of these stages. I also really enjoy teaching students and hope that my enthusiasm will make their sessions enjoyable – I’ve always seen myself becoming a teacher!

I have an enhanced DBS check and am safeguarding trained.

Hiya! My name is Benjamin and I am a fresh graduate who took History at Emmanuel College in Cambridge. I am a keen lover of all things history related and have a particular passion for medieval history. I love playing Touch Rugby and the Saxophone in my spare time, and enjoy reading further around my subject. I studied at St Albans School for Boys, and took a wide array of subjects for GCSE including triple science, maths, English literature and language, French, history, German and Ancient Greek. There, I scored nine 9 grades and one 6 grade (in English language). For A Level, I studied economics, history, politics and French achieving two A* and two A grades. This wide base of topics has equipped me with a diverse skill set to bring to any tutee session, allowing the most to be made of the time available to us!

I am keen to take on students at the moment, and can offer a wide range of teaching especially Oxbridge Admissions preparation as well as University Level history so please shoot me a message.

Hi, I’m Elin, a History and Politics graduate from Oxford University. Having experienced the application process for Oxford, I know how stressful and daunting it can be. I am here to offer help to anyone that wants to boost their confidence with their application for History and/or Politics at Oxbridge, whether that be their personal statement, the HAT, or interviews. My time at Oxford so far has equipped me to help other students that would like to receive an offer. I received an academic scholarship for achieving a distinction in my first year exams at Oxford (Prelims) and graduated this year with a first-class degree after coming first in my cohort, which demonstrates my understanding of the course and what is expected of Oxford students. I have over 5 years of experience tutoring for a range of different ages and abilities so I am flexible in my approach to teaching and able to adapt lessons to the needs of each individual. I am a friendly and approachable tutor who will aim to build your confidence and help you in any way I can!

Hi, I’m LucyAnne! I’m 23 years old and I live in London. I work as an actor and freelance singer, and also part-time as a teaching assistant and a tutor.

I studied History, English, Music and Biology at A Level (3 A*s, 1A) and, while at school, also gained two diplomas in French Horn (LRSM and DipABRSM) alongside Grade 8 Singing (ABRSM) and Verse & Prose (LAMDA), Grade 7 Piano (ABRSM) and Acting (LAMDA) and Grade 5 Music Theory (ABRSM). I then undertook a BA in History and English at Oxford, during which time I was awarded two scholarships for academic achievement. Since graduating in 2021, I have also gained an Acting Diploma from the London School of Dramatic Art.

I absolutely loved my time at uni, and while at school I was lucky enough to have some amazing teachers that showed me how fun learning can be. I would love to be able to inspire others like I was inspired.

My hobbies include cooking, reading and going on walks around my local area looking for cats to stroke!

Hello! My name is Ryan, I’m originally from Essex/East London. I am a Master’s student of Modern European History at the University of Oxford, having graduated from Oxford with a BA in History and Modern Languages in 2023. I am a keen traveller, reader, writer, and rugby player.

I am an experienced tutor of History and German at all levels, and English up to GCSE. I am also qualified to tutor Politics up to A-Level, and have experience with both 11+ and 13+ exams. As an Oxford student, I also have first-hand (relatively recent…) experience with the ‘Oxbridge’ admissions system, e.g. the ‘HAT’ and ‘MLAT’ exams and interviews.

I look forward to working with you/your child.

Interview: Oxford St. Andrews UCL LSE offersOnly student at school with an Oxbridge offerOxford offer for postgraduate studyconsulted on Oxbridge applications

I recently graduated with a Masters in Global and Imperial History from the University of Oxford in June 2023 after having completed my Bachelors in History from Oxford in June 2022. At university, I was involved with various student societies, most recently having completed my term as Editor-in-Chief of the Oxford Review of Books. Currently on a gap year, I am looking forward to tutoring students interested in academic study at Oxford or Cambridge, with a particular focus on the Humanities. I would love to hear from students who require extra help with school or academic work. Equally, I would be happy to provide ‘liberal arts’ tutoring for students interested in the Humanities that goes beyond the limits of a school curriculum and introduces them to the vast diversity of subjects and skills that the Humanities has to offer. This knowledge can be especially useful for students while writing EPQs or other forms of coursework as well as providing a good foundation before embarking on undergraduate study.
