Hi, I’m Fran! I am a postgraduate student at UCL, studying for MSc Science Technology and Society, which I hope to finish in 2024. In 2022, I graduated with a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, where I specialised in Materials Science in my final year. I’m super passionate about science, and love science communication and policy-making. In my spare time, I enjoy rock-climbing, reading, board games, and music.
I have been tutoring privately for around 5 years now, and I love it! I enjoy spreading my passion for science and love discussing new and interesting topics and issues in science with my students. I think it’s really important to engage children and young people with science, to encourage the next generation of medics, mathematicians, scientists, and engineers.

I’m Charlotte, a Masters student at the University of Cambridge (Physical Natural Sciences), and I would love to help you achieve your academic potential! With a proven track record of academic excellence at GCSE, and A level (4 A*) I have maintained a wide scope of discipline whilst at university. Hi there, my name is Shimin and I am currently a third year graduate entry Medicine student. Previously, I completed an MSci in Chemistry with Pharmacology with a 2:1. I have been tutoring students since 2016, mostly in Maths and Sciences and sometimes in English, ranging from key stage 2 to sixth form. I have also been helping students with their UCAS applications, personal statements and interview prep. I worked as a mentor with Causeway Education where I help year 13 students with their UCAS applications and personal statements.

As I have studied (and am still studying) university level Chemistry and Biology and have tutored multiple students, I have experience with and am confident with most exam boards. With Maths and Physics, I have mostly taught Edexcel and AQA but I am a quick learner. I can research the exam board and the specification to find the best strategy to teach that specification. I have also completed GAMSAT for graduate entry medicine with a score in the top 13%, so if you need help with this entrance exam, let me know!

My name is Anton, I am a third year civil engineering student at Imperial College. I am very passionate about my degree which includes a wide variety of modules ranging from mathematics and structural mechanics to computational methods and water resource management.

I come from Abingdon School where I have my GCSE’s and A-levels. I also have some experience with tutoring young students from unprivileged backgrounds (having took part in Royal Institution Masterclasses).

I am eager to tutor at A-level & University level standard subjects in which I have expertise in namely; Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Mechanics, Structural Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Soil Mechanics and MATLAB. I have been a deputy head teacher, and am currently also a team leader at the OCR exam board. I have previously been the head of professional studies at OCR.I have taught in both the estate and private sectors in the UK. I have taught several subjects in my time as a teacher.- I started teaching mathematics and physics in a state comprehensive school after graduating from Aston University with a BSc (1st Class Hons) in Mathematics and Physics and gained qualified teacher status with a Diploma In Mathematics Teaching.

I took a distance learning course with the Open University and graduated with a BA (Hons) on computing and electronics. I then became a Head of Microelectronics at a private school and followed this as a Director of Computing and Senior Teacher at another private school.

When my disabled daughter was born it became a life changer. I retrained to become a Chartered Accountant and also graduated with an Oxford Brookes University degree in Accountancy and a London university Masters degree in Financial management. The same year I also became a Chartered Mathematician. I worked from home as an accountant and also taught Accountancy on-line for a large
London company where I was the lead tutor on taxation. .

I live in Cornwall UK and enjoy all outdoor activities.
