Hi, I’m Fran! I am a postgraduate student at UCL, studying for MSc Science Technology and Society, which I hope to finish in 2024. In 2022, I graduated with a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, where I specialised in Materials Science in my final year. I’m super passionate about science, and love science communication and policy-making. In my spare time, I enjoy rock-climbing, reading, board games, and music.
I have been tutoring privately for around 5 years now, and I love it! I enjoy spreading my passion for science and love discussing new and interesting topics and issues in science with my students. I think it’s really important to engage children and young people with science, to encourage the next generation of medics, mathematicians, scientists, and engineers.

I am Uday Modhwadia, a recent graduate of the prestigious University of Cambridge. My academic journey at Cambridge has equipped me with a solid foundation in Economic Geography and urbanism, which I am eager to apply in a professional capacity. One of my key strengths is my ability to dissect and comprehend intricate themes within various subfields of geography, including post-colonial studies.

I’m Charlotte, a Masters student at the University of Cambridge (Physical Natural Sciences), and I would love to help you achieve your academic potential! With a proven track record of academic excellence at GCSE, and A level (4 A*) I have maintained a wide scope of discipline whilst at university. Before finding a passion for History and Philosophy of Science this year, I have previously taken university modules in Mathematics, Physics, Materials Science and Earth Sciences, making full use of the diversity the Cambridge Natural Sciences course provides. I have taught several subjects in my time as a teacher.- I started teaching mathematics and physics in a state comprehensive school after graduating from Aston University with a BSc (1st Class Hons) in Mathematics and Physics and gained qualified teacher status with a Diploma In Mathematics Teaching.

I took a distance learning course with the Open University and graduated with a BA (Hons) on computing and electronics. I then became a Head of Microelectronics at a private school and followed this as a Director of Computing and Senior Teacher at another private school.

When my disabled daughter was born it became a life changer. I retrained to become a Chartered Accountant and also graduated with an Oxford Brookes University degree in Accountancy and a London university Masters degree in Financial management. The same year I also became a Chartered Mathematician. I worked from home as an accountant and also taught Accountancy on-line for a large
London company where I was the lead tutor on taxation. .

I live in Cornwall UK and enjoy all outdoor activities.

Hi, my name is Andrew and I’m a recent graduate of the University of Cambridge, where I graduated with two first class degrees in Natural Sciences, specialising in Biology, Earth Sciences and the History and Philosophy of Science.

I have experience tutoring a wide range of subjects, including Maths, Biology, Chemistry, German and Philosophy, as well as in guiding students through their applications to Cambridge and Oxford, drawing upon both my own experience applying, and my time working for the admissions department for a Cambridge College.

Outside of my academic side, I’m a keen musician (I play the French Horn in several orchestras and a brass quintet), reader (I love sci-fi, books about philosophy, and am currently reading Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro), and am very interested in politics, both in the UK and abroad.
