From UCAT to Offer: Personalised Medical Admissions Support

I am a Graduate Entry Medicine offer holder who will begin studying at the University of Chester in September 2026. I also hold a Master’s degree in Behavioural Neuroscience and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology.

Having successfully navigated the UK medical school admissions process independently, I understand how challenging it can be to balance UCAT preparation, university selection, personal statement development, and interview preparation. My application resulted in multiple medical school interviews and ultimately a Graduate Entry Medicine offer during my first UK application cycle.

I have delivered more than 100 hours of tutoring, supporting students with UCAT preparation, application strategy, personal statements, medical school interviews, and wider admissions guidance. I work with both undergraduate and graduate applicants, including international students and those requiring additional learning support.

As a neurodivergent applicant who sat the UCAT with access arrangements, I understand that every student approaches the admissions process differently. I provide personalised and practical strategies based on each student’s strengths, learning style, goals, and individual circumstances rather than relying on a one size fits all approach.

My aim is not simply to teach students how to answer questions. I help them understand their mistakes, develop reliable techniques, improve their confidence, and build a clear admissions strategy from UCAT preparation through to receiving an offer.

Hi, I’m Kiera- Oxford and Cambridge graduate! I have just completed my PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford, specialising in autism and mental health research. This PhD was funded by an extremely competitive Clarendon Scholarship, which is only awarded to one student in the department each year. Prior to this I completed my Master’s in Psychological Research at the University of Oxford (for which I received a distinction) and my Bachelor’s in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Cambridge (for which I received first class honours). I am passionate about teaching and employ an active approach. During my undergraduate degree I took optional modules in education, which has allowed me to really refine my tutoring approach. I have over 12 years of tutoring experience, and specialise in psychology and Oxbridge application tuition.
