Hi! I’m Sohaib, a dedicated tutor with a background in Chemical and Sustainable Energy Engineering. I’ve taught over 200 students from Primary to A-Level, helping many achieve top grades in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Science, even those who once struggled or lacked confidence.

I completed an AS Level award in English Literature and A Levels in History, Psychology and Art and Design. I then achieved a 2:1 in BSc Applied Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University in 2014. In 2018, I successfully completed a PGCert from the University of Birmingham in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions, and in 2021 I qualified as a teacher of Art and Design.
I am a creative-thinking and motivated individual looking for a new challenge to broaden my horizons. I have previously worked as a psychological talking therapist, and I am also a qualified secondary teacher with extensive experience in schools; which has led me to my current role as an SEN tutor for adolescents who are refusing school attendance. My role is to provide them with the emotional support and encouragement needed to return to school, as well as helping them to learn and revise all curriculum material needed to pass their exams. I relish the opportunity to build positive relationships with others, as this is what motivates me, and I love to see meaningful changes which lead to bright futures; as a result of the work that myself and others have put in. I believe that in order to overcome any challenge, the first step is to identify the barriers to change. This requires the development of trusting relationships with students, as well as their parents and key staff members at their enrolled schools. Once these barriers are identified, we are able to collaboratively come up with a tailored plan to integrate students back into school.

With over 12 years of experience in health, wellness, and teaching, I have built a diverse and dynamic career that combines my passion for education, fitness, and personal development. As a dedicated academic teacher, I have worked with students across a wide age range (3-18+), delivering engaging and tailored lessons in various subjects. My ability to design and implement specific exercises and drills has consistently optimized results, whether in the classroom or in fitness training.

I have successfully contributed to large and complex integration projects as part of collaborative teams, demonstrating strong organizational and problem-solving skills. My deep involvement in martial arts, mountaineering, strength training, and cardiovascular fitness has not only enhanced my physical stamina, technique, and strength but also shaped my professional approach as a rock climbing instructor and fitness coach.

My qualifications include a Level 6 Diploma in Education and Teaching (RQF), QTLS certification, and an Advanced Level 2/3/4 Personal Trainer Diploma, alongside specialized certifications in Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition, and Studio Cycling. I hold a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Financial Computing (Mathematics) from Brunel University, complemented by expertise in Financial Information Systems and Algorithmic Programming.

My technical expertise spans anatomy and physiology, sport-specific training practices, and nutrition, supported by certifications in Spinning, Kettlebells, First Aid, and Boxing. I am also proficient in a range of software packages, including MS Office, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Kindle Publishing.

Hi, I’m Fran! I am a postgraduate student at UCL, studying for MSc Science Technology and Society, which I hope to finish in 2024. In 2022, I graduated with a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, where I specialised in Materials Science in my final year. I’m super passionate about science, and love science communication and policy-making. In my spare time, I enjoy rock-climbing, reading, board games, and music.
I have been tutoring privately for around 5 years now, and I love it! I enjoy spreading my passion for science and love discussing new and interesting topics and issues in science with my students. I think it’s really important to engage children and young people with science, to encourage the next generation of medics, mathematicians, scientists, and engineers.

I studied a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at the University of Notre Dame Australia, and have always worked with children – first as a swim instructor, then in after school care and finally formally as a teacher in schools after completing my degree. I am in my third year of teaching in primary education, and my first year teaching in the UK. I have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum, with experience from Nursery age onwards. I have recently moved to London and am currently working in a school as the Nursery Teacher. I enjoy using different educational resources and activities to assist students in meeting their educational goals. I ensure lessons are adaptable to meet students learning outcomes and am flexible in my teaching strategies. I build relationships with both students and families to ensure communication is open and that the students are engaged in all lessons and activities.

Hello, my name is David Achwong’o Sikote and I am a graduate and experienced tutor in science, chemistry and biology. I have a degree in Education Science (Chemistry and Biology) from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga university of science and Technology. I have been tutoring students for over three years.
