I am a compassionate and adaptable education and student support professional with extensive experience in academic mentoring and student services, particularly focused on supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. I strive to empower students by tailoring personalized learning plans, offering practical guidance, and fostering a supportive environment where every learner feels valued and motivated to achieve their goals.

I have 30+ years of experience in tutoring in parallel to my career as an engineer and a business consultant. As I am not traveling anymore, I can use these assets to help students in both tutoring and making assignments from a distance besides my consulting work. I am based in Brussels.
Most of my students come to me from word of mouth since my hit rate is quite high: they get quite quickly autonomous, needing much fewer sessions than with a purely academic tutor. My explanations are always based on daily life applications, as I have been using most topics in my professional career (I started as a basic nuclear engineer).
For Business Studies, I also use my broad experience as a business consultant: I still coach and train Engineers into Business & Sales engineers with a few Scandinavian technical companies since 1995.

I’m a graduate of Suffolk University with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (2:1) in Global Business Management. Alongside my degree, I also hold a Diploma in Education and Training (DET) and have completed over 100 hours of supervised teaching practice, which has given me strong classroom and one-to-one teaching experience.

I teach Business Management at Level 3 and Foundation level, supporting students with coursework, assignments, exam preparation, and building a strong understanding of core business topics such as marketing, finance, operations, human resources, and entrepreneurship. My teaching style is clear, structured, and supportive, and I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand explanations.

I’m patient, approachable, and committed to helping students grow in confidence as well as academically. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit individual needs and learning styles, including students who need extra guidance or encouragement. I believe that with the right support, every student can succeed.
