Hi there! I’m Candice and I’ve recently graduated from Oxford (St John’s) reading Geography. Before this, I achieved 3 A*s and an A in French, Spanish, Geography and English Literature at A-Level. Whilst at Oxford, I helped mentor prospective students through the admissions process for Geography and so understand the Oxbridge admissions process thoroughly. I also have lots of tutoring experience for GCSE and A-Level students. I understand that every student learns in different ways and speeds so I will adapt every session to your goals and progress throughout so you feel as comfortable and prepared as possible whether that’s solidifying your knowledge of Geography as a whole or tackling tricky interview questions and admissions tests. I also think an integral part of nailing the admissions process is being really confident in talking about your subject which can feel really foreign and braggy at first so I hope to use the skills gained over my degree and my previous tutoring experiences to be a comforting and passionate companion along this journey. I look forward to working with you soon!
Hi, my name is Ips. I’m an undergraduate Biomedical Science student from the UK.
I am creative, adaptable, and forward-thinking, with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to develop and manage relationships.
I am an ambitious, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual looking to develop my academic skills in the professional world of healthcare and science. I am also a keen learner in all fields and aspects. Further to add, I am adept at public speaking and am receptive to change, and willing to learn and take on board exciting challenges.
I like writing and have written several unpublished short books and articles. Aside from my love of traveling, I also enjoy playing sports and reading. If I’m missing, then it’s best to look for me in the kitchen whipping together a tasty meal or punching the bag at my gym for the extra pump of endorphins and dopamine.
I’m often found dawdling in the world of academic creativity. As a nerd who doesn’t always ace her exams, I’m always there for a good conversation with a strong espresso at hand 🙂
Hello! I’m Elizabeth, a University of Cambridge graduate (June 2023) with a 1st class degree in Education, English, Drama and the Arts from Homerton College. I also achieved A*s in English Literature and Drama and Theatre studies at A-Level, and an A in History.
I have a TEFL qualification, and experience teaching English and volunteering in classrooms (in the UK and in Thailand) as well as on a one-to-one basis.
I can also help with University applications and interview preparations, particularly for Humanities degrees at Oxbridge .
It would be my pleasure to help you with any of the above areas, or I also offer general confidence building and public speaking sessions, having achieved distinctions in both Grade 8 LAMDA Acting and Public speaking.

I am an experienced, proactive, rigorous and energetic tutor, Oxbridge graduate and creative professional with extensive experience working as a teacher, support officer, and artist. I have a very strong academic record, having a achieved a Class I BA in Human, Social and Political Sciences at King’s College, Cambridge University, an MFA in Theatre Directing at Birkbeck College and all A and A at A Level and GCSE from Tiffin Girl’s School. I continue my love of academia into my life and it fuels all my creative work and work with young people. I love to teach, mentor and guide young people in academic and other areas of life, and have often been described as a good role model. I started teaching on my gap year in Minorca, as a sailing instructor, and have continued my passion tutoring part time ever since, including everything from 11+, English Language, Early Years, Oxbridge Entrance and History A Level through various organisations. My effective communication skills and positive energy have seen me excel in public facing roles. As a youth support worker, child support officer and workshop facilitator, I am also used to working with groups of people and managing difficult behaviour with a professional, yet kind and warm attitude.
Outside of teaching and youth work, I also work in the domestic abuse sector, having previously worked at Women’s Aid and currently employed at Refuge on the 24hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline, hoping to contribute to the ending of violence towards women and girls. I am a keen vegetable grower and avid reader of novels. I have lots of experience working in theatre and film and I watch and consume both many times a week. I worked for Potboiler Productions for a number of years and was assistant to the Director and Producer on The Little Stranger, working for the Oscar-nominated director, Lenny Abrahamson. For my directing work, I was awarded an OffWestEnd Award for my show ‘All the Little Lights’ in London, for best show of the Camden Fringe, and I won Best Director for my show ‘Knives and Forks’ at the Bitesize Festival in Hammersmith this year.
I love to write, play my accordion, cook and grow things too, and think cultivating hobbies and interests is essential for good learning habits!
Hello, I’m Vaneeza, and I’m excited to help your child excel in English, Law, History, Philosophy, or Spanish from GCSE to A-Level. I am a finalist studying Law at Cambridge and achieved 3 A*s at A-Level, so I know firsthand what it takes to succeed in these subjects. I hope to make essay-based subjects more engaging, by drawing on broader questions and honing in on what makes excellent analysis.
Coming from a state school and being the first generation at university, I understand the challenges students face when working towards their futures and how to overcome them. My track record of helping students achieve remarkable success speaks to the effectiveness of my methods. I believe that fostering the right mindset is key to academic success, so by creating a positive and encouraging environment, I help students build confidence and develop a genuine love for thinking critically and showing that passion in their essays. When I’m not studying myself, I am usually at the gym or sewing away!

Hi my name is Sofia I’m from the Wirral and currently studying dentistry in Leeds. I am 20 years old and understand how difficult school and sixth form can be, I aim to help studies like my self to make learning easy. I had tutors myself growing up and found some can regurgitate information without helping the students understand in their own terms, something I successfully avoid. I like to swim, play tennis and most importantly have a fun social life along side my difficult studies! My main personal passion is history, that I am very fond of. I’ve had many achievements but had to work very hard to get there, having applied for dentistry twice and taking a gap year in the process I’ve learnt how to manage applications well and stand out at interviews! I have worked for a year in customer service for NS&I, dealing with difficult and unexpected situations with financial worries and bereavements has taught me how to deal effectively in hard moments and enhanced my listening skills and empathetic nature. These are invaluable skills I’ve gained as with education, exam seasons can be very stressful and frustrating with student’s potentially loosing their motivation to study. Studying should be seen as a fun way to learn more and emphasis our brains power, something I’d love to help students develop in their academic journeys.
