Drama Tutors : 1-1 Drama Preparation

Hi! My name is Edie and I am looking forward to meeting you. I, on a personal level, understand the demands and pressures of school, and so I hope to make each tutee’s scholastic life easier by providing study support.
I am currently an undergraduate studying Psychology at Durham University, pursuing a career as an educational psychologist. Hence, I am always ready and happy to help others, especially with academics. I have prior experience helping my brother with his studies in IB and GCSE, alongside volunteering to tutor younger students (age 12-15) in Maths and Biology during my high school years. I have also lived in Asia, Europe and the UK, and hence have a broader understanding of the different cultural pressures associated with education.
In 2024, I graduated from the IB diploma programme in the top 10% of my cohort, so I am no stranger to a good work ethic and using effective study strategies to get top marks. I am also familiar with the high-pressure environment of examinations, and so am able to give advice on how to maintain a work-life balance based on experience if requested. My favourite subjects were Psychology, Biology and Literature, but I mostly miss the supportive educational environment — fostered by my peers and teachers — that enabled me to thrive in my adolescent years. I now strive to create the same warm and informative environment with my future tutees, where questions are not just welcomed but encouraged.

Hi, my name is Ips. I’m an undergraduate Biomedical Science student from the UK.

I am creative, adaptable, and forward-thinking, with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to develop and manage relationships.

I am an ambitious, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual looking to develop my academic skills in the professional world of healthcare and science. I am also a keen learner in all fields and aspects. Further to add, I am adept at public speaking and am receptive to change, and willing to learn and take on board exciting challenges.

I like writing and have written several unpublished short books and articles. Aside from my love of traveling, I also enjoy playing sports and reading. If I’m missing, then it’s best to look for me in the kitchen whipping together a tasty meal or punching the bag at my gym for the extra pump of endorphins and dopamine.

I’m often found dawdling in the world of academic creativity. As a nerd who doesn’t always ace her exams, I’m always there for a good conversation with a strong espresso at hand 🙂

Hello! I’m Elizabeth, a University of Cambridge graduate (June 2023) with a 1st class degree in Education, English, Drama and the Arts from Homerton College. My degree was very broad in scope, covering areas from Education Policy and International development, to Literature and Poetics studies, Sociology, Philosophy and Drama and Theatre History.
I also achieved A*s in English Literature and Drama and Theatre studies at A-Level, and an A in History.
I have a TEFL qualification, and experience teaching English and volunteering in classrooms (in the UK and in Thailand) as well as on a one-to-one basis.
I can also help with University applications and interview preparations, particularly for Humanities degrees at Oxbridge .
It would be my pleasure to help you with any of the above areas, or I also offer general confidence building and public speaking sessions, having achieved distinctions in both Grade 8 LAMDA Acting and Public speaking.

I am a medical student currently studying at Cardiff University. At university, I am a MedSoc member alongside being part of WAAMS, a scheme that helps state-educated pupils in Wales get into medicine. Applying for medicine was a daunting and often overwhelming process, but receiving the right support was the key to success. This is why I am determined to help others achieve their goals. I know people’s strengths lie in different areas, so I am open to offer support with A-level topics, interview preparation, UCAT or personal statement guidance. My principle is always to listen to the student and tailor my tutoring to their needs. Therefore, I make sure to start by mapping out a plan for our sessions in order to ensure my students get the most out of the process and are on track to success.

Hi, my name’s Kaan. I’m an education fanatic who’s passionate about continuously expanding my knowledge across a range of subjects. I’m currently studying History, Politics and Economics at UCL, having achieved A*AAA at A-Level and 7-9s at GCSE. I’m dedicated to helping others succeed
academically and personally, as I understand the challenges of school life firsthand as someone with ADHD, which has taught me resilience, patience, and effective learning techniques.
Outside academics, I’m a keen drummer, ice skater, regular gym-goer and traveller (in fact I’m trilingual!) I truly believe balance is key because without it, succeeding becomes even harder.
