Hello! My name is Asirini, but you can call me Srini! I am an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor currently in my final year studying Law at the University of Oxford, where I consistently rank at the top of my cohort. My academic journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of various subjects, and I have honed my tutoring skills across English, Mathematics, and A-Level Humanities, including Philosophy, Politics, Sociology, Criminology, and Religion.
In addition, I specialise in preparing students for the LNAT and teaching foundational legal subjects such as Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Contract Law, and Tort Law. What I cherish most about tutoring is the opportunity to foster my students’ confidence and ignite their curiosity about learning. I believe that education is not just about acquiring knowledge; it’s about inspiring a love for learning and empowering students to reach their full potential. I look forward to guiding you on your academic journey

After years of helping organisations navigate environmental sustainability risks and opportunities—across the arts and culture sector with Arts Council England, and in corporate ESG and community investment at RSA Insurance Group, Macquarie Group, and Slaughter and May—I am now focused educating the next generation.
Currently, I support first year university students as an external partner at London Interdisciplinary School (LIS) on inclusive environmental policy making.
I am also supporting the Motivez Sustainable London programme through project-based learning for year 10 students in their 2 day hackathon event where 30 students and their mentors work to create innovative solutions to local sustainability and climate issues using STEM as the main driver.
In my work at Julie’s Bicycle, I led environmental reporting and qualitative research efforts that helped secure £1.2 million in Arts Council England funding to deliver the national Environmental Programme for NPO organisations.
In 2022, I earned a full-ride scholarship to pursue a Master’s in Global Development and Environment at the University of Bristol, where I self-managed and led international research in 2023 in Accra, Ghana. My on-the-ground work in Ghana’s Kantamanto Market provided critical socio-economic insights into the informal second-hand fashion trade and the systemic drivers of textile waste.

I read a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at The University of Birmingham, graduating in 2005, which truly opened up my mind to life long learning! After my first degree, I worked as a research assistant for a consultancy, followed by becoming a teaching assistant in SEND schools in Birmingham. After which, I decided to take a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) in 2009 at The University of Warwick. I have been working in education ever since, across a wide variety of settings: ESOL teaching in Thailand and online, a primary school teacher in Honduras, a SEND KS3/KS4 teacher in the UK. I currently teach GCSE and A level Sociology to students in the UK. I have also had a lot of experience delivering English language, English literature, PSHE, citizenship geography lessons and KS1 and KS2 English, maths and science.
I love to get to know my students and focus on connection, self esteem, confidence and personalised classes.
Hello, my name is Simon Hackett , and I’m an experienced tutor, Director at 4 Life Education alternative education provision, and ex Deputy Head at a vocational education setting. I’ve spent many years working with children and teenagers who haven’t quite found their place in mainstream school—and I know from experience that with the right support, the right approach, and a bit of patience, every young person can thrive.
I specialise in working with children who may have additional needs, struggle with behaviour or confidence, or just learn better in a different environment. I teach a range of subjects, including Maths, English, Construction, Sport, and life skills, and I always adapt lessons to suit the individual child. Whether your child needs help catching up, finding their confidence, or re-engaging with learning altogether, I aim to build a positive relationship first, because learning starts when a child feels safe, understood, and supported.
As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to know your child is in the right hands. I bring a calm, consistent, and encouraging approach to each session, and I keep communication open with families every step of the way. My sessions focus not just on education, but also on building your child’s confidence, self-esteem, and resilience. Every child learns differently, and I’m here to find the way that works best for yours.
