Hello everyone! I am Sienna, second year Vet student at the University of Edinburgh. I am very keen to help students with personal statements, academic tutoring and vet school interviews.

I achieved 8 9s in GCSES and A*AA in A Levels, Biology, Chemistry, Maths. I still have my previous notes I made during my studies so I can also offer those as extra sources during lessons. I’m very keen on improving your sciences, especially tutoring in Biology and Chemistry, and will go through tricky topics so you are more than ready in time for exams!

For those thinking of/ have applied to vet school, I’m also very keen to help you ace the interviews and get your offer. I achieved all 5 of my University offers and I am well prepared for MMI and panel interview styles. Looking back it was definitely a difficult journey but with the correct support you will definitely make it- it’s so worth it!

I am Hillman, a detail-minded, well-organized, and considerate student studying Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. I am very passionate in education and supporting the academic endeavors of schoolmates.

Throughout my studies and placements, I am eager to apply problem-solving techniques to placements and work experiences such as parasitology and hematology. I also participated in a Summer Research Scholarship where I meticulously planned and conducted dissections of emus and Cape Barren geese for teaching displays, focusing mainly on flight vs. flightless bird anatomy.

In the future, I want to take a chance to specialise in veterinary pathology, so that I can extend my education passion to other veterinarian colleagues or clients to explain the disease process behind the diagnostic specimens and suggest suitable treatment plans. Therefore, I also eagerly await the possibility of contributing to the important educating work carried out at this tutoring platform.

Getting into medical school is a mentally exhausting and gruelling process, students every year make many consequential yet very much avoidable mistakes which greatly hinder their application and prevent themselves from reaching the potential that they have, which is why it is so important to have someone that has been through it and done it to guide each student along the way and provide guidance and support. The application is very demanding and can be very emotionally draining as well as physically. Getting tutoring can help you feel less alone in the application process. With no assistance at all you might feel like you have nowhere to turn to for advice at times and diminish your overall confidence going into the process.

As an international student, I had to compete with highly-capable, like-minded individuals across the globe for a small fraction of spots in each cohort (roughly 10-15 per uni) in a much larger pool of applicants. I have achieved all 3 offers from the universities I was offered interviews in (with one of the unis giving me an offer much earlier on in the application cycle as they were impressed by my interview skills).
