Hi, I’m Josh, a 3rd year medical student at the University of Leeds.

I’m 20 years old and come from Rotherham.

I thoroughly enjoy tutoring both subjects and interviews. Last year 7/7 students I tutored for Leeds Medical interviews received offers. Over 500 hours of tutoring experience.

I completely understand how difficult the process is and feel that I could provide an invaluable insight into how the process works and be able to help throughout the journey.

I have experience running MMI style mock interviews which is something I can do in our sessions in preparation.

I thoroughly enjoying tutoring A levels, with lots of experience understanding how to approach questions and how to make sure you can get the maximum amount of marks through understanding the question and what it is looking for. I try to explain things in the best way possible and can give extra questions and resources to support understanding of particularly difficulty topics.

Throughout my education I have always enjoyed and excelled at maths and science so would thoroughly enjoy sharing this knowledge and help to both solidify and enrich your mathematical ability. I studied Maths, Biology and Chemistry at A level achieving A*/A*/A. I did AQA biology A level so have lots of knowledge of the essay section.

I love studying Medicine and want to make sure you also have the best possible chance of being in my position in a years time. Having worked as a student ambassador at the university I can enrich students with additional knowledge about the university of Leeds specifically such as teaching style, interview insights, knowledge of course structure providing a ‘cutting edge’ at interviews. In addition I empower my students to read beyond the regular interview preparation suggestions and to practise those most difficult questions and scenarios, making you as prepared for interview as possible.

Hi there, nice to meet you! My name is Ryan and I’m one of the tutors at Study Mind, who is, at the time of writing, a fourth year medical student. My motivation to work at Study Mind stems from my own personal experiences, in that I would not be where I am without the support that I had when I was applying, so being able to give students that opportunity is something that I would be most grateful to have! Outside of academia I have quite a number of interests that I am pursuing – including learning languages and running, and hopefully soon, learning to play the guitar! Reasons why you should have me as your tutor would be that I’m very focused and detail-oriented, but also someone who can quite relaxed, patient and adaptable. My name is Nadia and I am a medical student currently studying at Newcastle University. I know that the interview cycle is tough for a lot of people, but I am here to help, having extensive experience with tutoring interviews, both for multiple mini-interviews (MMI) and panels.

I tell all my students one thing: there are a plethora of questions these interviewers can ask you, and I cannot possibly teach you all of them. I am not teaching you answers to these interview questions, I am teaching you how to approach them. So regardless of what weird interview questions you get, you will be able to answer them with confidence. My students have had great success in getting into their university of choice, and have been satisfied with my teaching method, and I manage to create great rapport with the students.

I am also experienced in teaching other subjects, such as mathematics, biology, chemistry, UCAT, BMAT, and the extended project qualification (EPQ).
