Sunanya
About Me
Hello! My name is Sunanya and I am currently studying medicine at Imperial and am happy to tutor Biology and Chemistry up to A level as well as any part of the medical application process. I did biology, chemistry and maths A level as well as history in year 12. I’m not one of those people who has always loved my subjects and they often have a bad rep, but over the years I’ve really grown to enjoy them and I’d like to help other people grow to love them too.
I love to read and listen to music as well as staying generally active either at the gym or rowing. I also love going out with my friends and exploring London because I’ve lived in Durham most of my life so it’s a massive change.
I want to be able to help students as much as I can, whether it is with specific topics or even just general advice for these subjects or applying to medicine because I know how daunting it can be. I am easy to reach so feel free to contact me with any questions or to book a lesson!
My teaching style
During sixth form I realised that the lessons that stuck with me the most weren’t necessarily the ones with the most interesting content, but the ones where the teachers made the lessons engaging and took the time to answer any of our questions. I try to use this approach whilst tutoring and do everything I can to make the lesson as enjoyable as possible. I like to tailor my lessons towards the particular person and their learning style to make sure that they can get the most out of it, so I am always happy to listen to any suggestions that students or parents may have
