Currently I am a Specialist ASC Mentor supporting Autistic Spectrum students online and in person (one to one, weekly sessions). This is highly individual in scope, depending on student needs, also covering academic, social, wellbeing and organisation support.

Outside of tutoring, I have taken part in photography exhibitions in Seoul, mainly of documentary photography and graphic design.

I hold an Upper Second Class Honours in my Master’s degree in Pharmacy and have been working in various pharmacy settings since the age of 19. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience across both NHS and private healthcare sectors, including placements and roles in general practice, hospital pharmacy, and community settings. My name is Lizzie (she/her) and I am currently a final-year law student at the University of Cambridge (Queens’ College). I began tutoring four years ago as an A Level student and was consistently credited by tutees for my ability both to present complex information in an accessible form and to personalise my tutoring style. I have a superb academic record, achieving ten Grade 9s at GCSE, placing me at the top of the country, as well as three A Stars at A Level in English Literature, Economics and History. A strong belief of mine is that everyone can achieve their goals with the right direction, which inspired me to pursue tutoring at University. Furthermore, I am an expert at supporting students in their LNAT preparation, having worked as one of the authors of an online LNAT resource platform.

I have graduated from the University of Oxford with a 2.1 in Philosophy and Theology. Prior to attending Oxford, I achieved A*A*A* in English Literature, Latin and Religious Studies, with 5 A*S, 4 Grade 9s and a Grade 8 in GCSEs.

For the past few years, I have been a private tutor which has also entailed mentoring young students and seeing them progress and achieving their dream spots at their universities. This has enabled me to build client relationships and to handle multiple concurrent tasks, since I balanced tutoring with my ability to thrive in Oxford’s rigorous academic environment. I also believe that I work well under time constraints and to meet deadlines, which is an ability that my time at Oxford has prepared me well for.

I am a friendly and understanding teacher who has lived abroad for over 10 years teaching in China and Japan speakers of English as a second language in their chosen subjects as well as IELTS and iGCSE. I am keen to understand and support students who are struggling to juggle their various subjects while trying to have some fun in their lives. Equally, helping them understand their courses purposes well and formulating strategies that work for them personally offering a personalized, individually tailored service rather than the normal one size fits all approach used by standard tutors.
