Hi! I’m a final year Dental student at the University of Manchester 🙂 I’ve had lots of experience in tutoring students and prospective students one on one, reviewing personal statements (even if they’re for different courses or courses that are slightly related – e.g. Medicine!), and I’ve provided a lot of Q&A sessions for how I got into Uni and how I got 4/4 of my offers.

I received offers from King’s College London, Queen Mary College, Cardiff University, and the University of Manchester. I come from a socioeconomically deprived area, so I understand how it feels to be in competition for a University spot against others with better luck of the draw. I also have ADHD so I know how it feels to be a neurodivergent student and require slightly different styles and modes of teaching and concentration.

I love working with people and helping them – it’s part of why I want to go into Dentistry! I’d love for a chance to tutor even more people and make sure they’re receiving the best quality education and top personal tips for getting into Uni. Since I’ve worked as a Student Ambassador at UoM, I’ve also received “inside info” on how to ace your interview, and going through so many interviews myself as both the interviewee and the interviewer has given me a lot of experience so I can share all my knowledge with you!

Academically, I studied Biology, Psychology, and Urdu at A-Level, and I have a deep personal interest in subjects like biology and astronomy. I’ve also memorised the Qur’an in Arabic, which reflects my focus, discipline, and commitment to learning—values I aim to inspire in my students.

Hi there, I’m Amir — and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I genuinely love helping people learn and grow.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about supporting others to achieve their goals, whether that’s building confidence with new skills, taking the first steps into a new career, or simply realising just how much you’re capable of. Teaching and training isn’t just my job — it’s something I truly enjoy.

Over the past 12 years, I’ve had the chance to work with a wide range of amazing learners, from young students starting out to adults wanting to boost their careers. Hello, my name is Simon Hackett , and I’m an experienced tutor, Director at 4 Life Education alternative education provision, and ex Deputy Head at a vocational education setting. I’ve spent many years working with children and teenagers who haven’t quite found their place in mainstream school—and I know from experience that with the right support, the right approach, and a bit of patience, every young person can thrive.

I specialise in working with children who may have additional needs, struggle with behaviour or confidence, or just learn better in a different environment. Hello! My name is Ayesha Javid and I’m a qualified and experienced tutor with a strong background in Mathematics, Computer, and IT, all of which I passed with A grades. I completed my education in Pakistan and have also done professional teaching courses in the UK to align with the British curriculum.
