Hello! My name is Asirini, but you can call me Srini! I am an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor currently in my final year studying Law at the University of Oxford, where I consistently rank at the top of my cohort. My academic journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of various subjects, and I have honed my tutoring skills across English, Mathematics, and A-Level Humanities, including Philosophy, Politics, Sociology, Criminology, and Religion.

In addition, I specialise in preparing students for the LNAT and teaching foundational legal subjects such as Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Contract Law, and Tort Law. I take time to understand each learner’s needs, designing a bespoke hidden curriculum that gently weaves academics and a natural problem-solving approach into meaningful, engaging experiences. This approach is especially supportive for children facing behavioural or personal challenges.

After years of helping organisations navigate environmental sustainability risks and opportunities—across the arts and culture sector with Arts Council England, and in corporate ESG and community investment at RSA Insurance Group, Macquarie Group, and Slaughter and May—I am now focused educating the next generation.

Currently, I support first year university students as an external partner at London Interdisciplinary School (LIS) on inclusive environmental policy making.

I am also supporting the Motivez Sustainable London programme through project-based learning for year 10 students in their 2 day hackathon event where 30 students and their mentors work to create innovative solutions to local sustainability and climate issues using STEM as the main driver.

In my work at Julie’s Bicycle, I led environmental reporting and qualitative research efforts that helped secure £1.2 million in Arts Council England funding to deliver the national Environmental Programme for NPO organisations.

In 2022, I earned a full-ride scholarship to pursue a Master’s in Global Development and Environment at the University of Bristol, where I self-managed and led international research in 2023 in Accra, Ghana. My on-the-ground work in Ghana’s Kantamanto Market provided critical socio-economic insights into the informal second-hand fashion trade and the systemic drivers of textile waste.
