I’m really interested in meeting and teaching natives of other countries and sharing our experiences on top of increasing your English fluency. I also specialize in teaching A level sciences as well as university / postgraduate level chemistry. I also have work experience in a research and development department during my time working in a laboratory in Belgium, so if you have questions about potential career paths in that direction, feel free to ask!

As a second-year medical student at the University of Leicester, I’ve successfully navigated the challenging journey of academic examinations and medical school applications. Having recently experienced the pressures of GCSEs, A-levels, UCAT, and the rigorous medical school application process, I understand firsthand the daunting nature of these crucial academic milestones.
My academic achievements include 4 Grade 9s and 6 Grade 8s at GCSE, A*AA at A-level, and an A* in EPQ. I also scored in the top decile for UCAT with a Band 1 in SJT. This strong academic background, coupled with over a year of tutoring experience in a range of subjects, positions me well to guide students through their own academic journeys.

I am from Indonesia but lived in Dubai since 2010. I have tutored GCSE physics and chemistry since year 12 and was a teaching assistant for accelerated maths students during this time too. I have experience in teaching kids from 3 year olds to 16 year olds from part timing as taekwondo instructor. I have had the privilege of tutoring people of all backgrounds and cultures so I can accommodate to their learning style. I have worked with children with learning disabilities from ages 3 and up. I am good at motivating students and relating to them to create a more comfortable and trustworthy atmosphere. My academic background can help the students not only learn the content but also teach them how to figure out their study technique so they know how to revise independently and efficiently for their future and also teach them on how to maintain their mentality for their upcoming exams.

Hello! I’m Rhea, I am a first year Economics and Economic History student at the London School of Economics. I have two years of tutoring experience, helping students of all ages reach their potential in Maths and English, as well as Economics. By working with different styles of students I have found different ways of working with young people of different ages so I will be happy to frame the curriculum in a way which suits you!
I have also taken part in many maths challenges at every level. With over eight years of experience as a fully qualified teacher—including roles as Music Subject Lead and Maths—I am passionate about making learning engaging, accessible, and fun. My mission is to build confidence and instil a love for learning, especially in those who find maths or music difficult. Recognised with a Highly Commended Award for Pearson’s National Teacher of the Year in a secondary school (2022), I take pride in delivering tailored, supportive lessons that truly make a difference.

Prior to my teaching career, I travelled to the UK from Australia with a full University Scholarship to study music. I was fortunate to perform with some of the best Brass Bands in the world, traveling on tour with them all over the world. Having achieved the prestigious Harry Mortimer Performance Prize, and winner the British Cornet Solo Championships, I continued my journey by serving in the British Army as a professional trumpeter in the Coldstream Guards Scots Guards Band. It was here where I found the love of teaching. Following my Military career, I became a fully trained Music teacher and experienced 8+ years teaching in a variety of education settings such as Primary, Secondary and SEN/D schools. Throughout this time, I developed a passion for teaching Maths and working with learners who are SEN, Neurodiverse, anxious and lacking in confidence. Having struggled with Maths as a school student, I was driven to making Maths more fun, exciting, enjoyable and accessible – being the teacher I always needed! I am now delving into the world of tutoring where I can reach more learners that need me.
