Hello! I’m Lin, a 3rd year medical student at the University of Glasgow. I took A-Level Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Drama, and the EPQ, of which I attained A*A*A*A*A.

In 2022, I scored 3010 in the UCAT, which put me in the top 5% of candidates and landed me medicine interviews with the University of Glasgow, Newcastle University, and the University of Sheffield, all of which I was accepted to.

I am currently the Vice-President of the AMSA medical society at the University of Glasgow, and the Year 3 representative for the University of Glasgow society of Medicine. I am also the Education Officer for Glasgow Neuro this year, and I was previously the Preclinical Academic Officer of AMSA, where I regularly organised teaching sessions for Year 1 and Year 2 students, tutoring a number of sessions myself. I also hold the position of Treasurer of the Society of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, which happens to be the specialty I am most interested in!

My name is Silas and I am a newly qualified Resident Doctor following the completion of my Medical Degree at the University of Sheffield. I graduated with honours and received the Mark Gregory Baker as the top student in my year.

Prior to studying Medicine, I gained a First Class Degree in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Birmingham; my degree allowed me to apply to Undergraduate Medicine as a graduate. I can offer a unique perspective for students looking for alternate routes into Medicine and on the importance placed on varied interests by Medical Schools across the country.

As a Sheffield Medical student, I am the President of the Sheffield Emergency Medicine Society and am a member of medical societies such as Sheffield Friends of MSF and Wilderness Medicine. I am also a Community First Responder which involves responding to emergencies in the area with lifesaving equipment before the ambulance arrives. My specific areas of interest within Medicine are: Emergency Medicine, Wilderness Medicine, Pre-Hospital Medicine, Humanitarian Medicine, and Disaster Medicine.

In terms of the city of Sheffield, I was born and raised here therefore I feel that I can answer any questions that students have about the city, the lifestyle, and the surrounding area which I know is a point of emphasis from Sheffield during the interview process.

Hi there! My name is Grace. In 2023, I finished a French Literature MSt at Keble College, Oxford, for which I received a Distinction. I also completed a History and French BA for my undergraduate at Somerville College, Oxford and got a First Class. I’ve been tutoring for seven years now so I have lots of experience, and I really enjoy being able to help students wherever I can. Throughout my time in education, I always put my academic studies first, and I know how important it is to do your best in exams; I find it extremely rewarding when I can help students to achieve this. Having got all A*s in GCSE and A-Level, and successfully passed through Oxford’s rigorous admissions process, I know first-hand what is required to do well at all of these stages. Hi I’m Maya. I am a recent LLB law graduate from the University of Bristol.

I have studied all core llb law modules (tort law, land law, public law, criminal law, trusts and contract law) as well as other law modules such as internet technology law, EU law, medical law, family law, immigration law, jurisprudence and more.

I am an experienced LNAT tutor, teaching both verbal reasoning skills and essay technique, as well as the necessary exam content to prepare for the test. I also tutor a range of GCSE and A-level subjects, such as English Literature, History and Government and Politics. I have previously tutored KS2-3 students in general studies.
