Hi, I’m LucyAnne! I’m 23 years old and I live in London. I work as an actor and freelance singer, and also part-time as a teaching assistant and a tutor.
I studied History, English, Music and Biology at A Level (3 A*s, 1A) and, while at school, also gained two diplomas in French Horn (LRSM and DipABRSM) alongside Grade 8 Singing (ABRSM) and Verse & Prose (LAMDA), Grade 7 Piano (ABRSM) and Acting (LAMDA) and Grade 5 Music Theory (ABRSM). I then undertook a BA in History and English at Oxford, during which time I was awarded two scholarships for academic achievement. Since graduating in 2021, I have also gained an Acting Diploma from the London School of Dramatic Art.
I absolutely loved my time at uni, and while at school I was lucky enough to have some amazing teachers that showed me how fun learning can be. I would love to be able to inspire others like I was inspired.
My hobbies include cooking, reading and going on walks around my local area looking for cats to stroke!
Hi! I’ve just graduated from the University of Oxford with a first class degree in Biology (integrated masters). My masters project was on antibiotic resistance, but I’ve studied and taught all types of biology, ranging from plant biology, evolutionary biology to cell biology.
While I thoroughly enjoyed my degree, I found it academically challenging. However, it taught me valuable lessons in working efficiently and managing my time effectively, enabling me to strike a better balance between work and taking breaks.
In my free time, I love to play both play football (big Arsenal fan heads up!), netball, guitar, and piano. I also love to read, with my favourite genre being historical fiction. I am also very sociable and find that I particularly enjoy spending time with others. I enjoy creating a fun and encouraging learning environment, which I find benefits both myself and students, helping us make the most out of each lesson.
I’m Prerna, a recently graduated doctor from the University of Nottingham. Having secured acceptances into Birmingham, Manchester, and UCLAN, I bring extensive interview experience, specializing in MMI and Panel formats. I have had the privilege of assisting numerous aspiring medical students in their interview preparation and have helped students gain admission to universities including Warwick, UCL, Manchester, KCL, and Leicester. I’ve gained valuable insights into the interview process through my experience working for the Medical Interview department at the University of Nottingham. This exposure has provided me with a better understanding of how interviews are conducted.
I look forward to the opportunity to impart knowledge, inspire confidence, and foster success in your learning environment.

I am an upcoming Veterinary Medicine student at the University of Nottingham (april cohort) who has attended vet school interviews at the RVC, UCLan, Nottingham and Liverpool. I received offers from UCLan and Nottingham after taking a gap year, in which I am currently working at a local small animal practice.
I achieved A*AA in my A-levels with an A* in psychology and A’s in Chemistry and Biology. ln my GCSEs, I obtained all grades 7-9 (A/A* equivalent) in my GCSEs, obtaining all 8s in science subjects. I have previous experience tutoring GCSE students in mainly Chemistry and Biology but also Physic. I am also very happy coaching AS and A-level psychology students. For all subjects, I go through note-taking techniques, content as well as exam preparation through practice questions and paper/interview specific guidance.
Hi there 🙂 I’m Amee, a graduate student from the University of Warwick now enrolled onto the undergraduate medicine course at King’s College London.
Having applied to medical school twice, both as a school leaver and graduate from Warwick (where I achieved a 1st (Hons) in Biomedical Science), I understand how daunting this process can feel. However, having achieved 3/4 offers both times, I believe the best approach is to ENJOY making your application. This is a chance to explore who you are!
As a graduate, I achieved 3010 in the UCAT and received offers from Newcastle, Sheffield and KCL. As a school leaver, I achieved 2950 in the UCAT and received offers from Imperial, Birmingham and Bristol.
The best piece of advice I would give to anyone applying to medicine is to not be afraid of practicing what they are weakest in for fear of failure. I did not achieve these UCAT scores by solely focusing on my strengths but by targeting those areas I dreaded most and being CONSISTENT with it. For example, I was never good at ‘Abstract Reasoning’ and therefore used to avoid practicing these questions. However, once I actively researched techniques and became consistent in my practice, I achieved 870 in my first UCAT exam.
I am a firm believer that with the right guidance and pointers, this fearless approach will come natural and your confidence with all aspects of your application will shine through.
Hi! I am a first year medical student at UCL and I am keen to help other aspiring medics with the application process. Having recently been involved in the application process, my understanding of what medical schools are interested in is current, which is important for interview preparation. Additionally, having recently taken the BMAT and UCAT, I know all the techniques and strategies to achieve a high score which got me interviews at Cambridge, UCL, Bristol and Birmingham. I also achieved a 43 in the IB this year, taking HL Maths AA, Biology, and Chemistry and am happy to tutor in all of those subjects. With experience tutoring students in Maths and Sciences for the past two years, I have gained a good insight into adapting my teaching techniques and explanations for different students, ensuring each student understands topics and ideas clearly and effectively.
