Hello Tutees! I’m Shaun, a 5th year medical student at Magdalene College, the University of Cambridge and I’m have an interest in surgery as well as neuroscience and molecular biology. I also intercalated in psychology in my 3rd year. I’m a fun, friendly and approachable tutor who’s really excited to help you all reach you’re, very achievable, goals!
I come from a town in Yorkshire where I went to an underperforming state comprehensive, no-one from my school had ever even applied for anywhere like Cambridge for medicine, me being here today is a testament to the additional time and effort I had to put in to my university application and A-levels. All that stress and work is handy though, I know an awful lot about university applications for medicine, to Cambridge and Oxford, as well as for general applications across the board. I achieved offers from everywhere I interviewed at (I withdrew from one of my options) so I can really be a good help for interview skills. I also achieved some of my schools best ever A-levels and even nabbed some golds in subject olympiads.
What can I do for you?
Hi, my name is Liza and I have recently graduated from the University of Lincoln, where I studied psychology with forensic psychology. I studied Biology, Maths and Chemistry at A- level. I have achieved an overall 2.1 in my undergraduate degree and Bs in all three of the subjects I studied at A level. I am going to study come Septemebr Psychological research methods for my master’s degree. All these subjects I have had a continued passion in and would love to tutor in as I want students to achieve their true potential. Sometimes it’s hard to believe in yourself and I have experienced that first hand, but with my tutoring I will help you realise you can be what you dream to be. I love to see students become more confident in who they are. In my spare time I love performing in musicals, playing video games and collecting vinyls.

Hi there!
I am Clemie, a 22 year old Londoner who has just graduated from Trinity College, University of Cambridge with a first class degree in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences. I loved my time at Cambridge; managing to balance a busy social life with demanding academic and extracurricular commitments! My career goal is to become a clinical psychologist who also does research on the side. In particular, I am interested in the ‘mind-body interface’. This year I am taking a ‘gap-year’ to get some work experience and travel! I tutor psychology (up to university) and biology (up to A-level) as well as chemistry and maths up to GCSE level. Additionally, I help prepare students for their Oxbridge interviews and perfect their personal statements. In my free time, I love to do yoga, travel, and learn new languages!
Hello! I’m Sophie, a recent graduate from the University of Cambridge with a First Class (Honours) degree in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences. During my time at Cambridge I studied a broad range of topics across the Psychology, Biology, and Archeology departments. I also completed a funded research internship in a neuroscience lab in the Experimental Psychology Department at the University of Oxford, and I’m about to begin my Master’s degree at UCL.
Before university I achieved 4 A* at A-Level (in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Politics), and 11 A* at GCSE.
I am very passionate about science, and I love helping students explore these subjects both across and beyond their GCSE and A-Level curricula. I also have experience helping students through the university application process, including both personal statements and Oxbridge interviews. I know just how daunting this process can feel, so I’m really looking forward to supporting students throughout their application in order to give them the best possible chances of getting an offer from their dream university!
