Molecular and Cellular Biology Tutors : 1-1 Molecular and Cellular Biology Preparation

I am a final year medical student at Flinders University who is about to graduate soon. In addition, to studying medicine at Flinders I have also participated in extracurriculars such as university sports and medrevue, as stage manager. Medrevue which is a musical that is organized by medical students every year.

I moved to Australia 10 years ago and did not have much experience with their tertiary education system. However, my experiences with volunteering and private tutoring helped me build a network which later helped me gain useful advice when trying to seek admission into an undergraduate university course. I believe I would be of use to anyone who needs some mentoring while trying to navigate the tertiary education system in Australia.

The networks I was able to establish during the course of my undergraduate degree helped me a lot when trying to gain admission into medicine in Australia. I studied Bachelors of Biomedicine at University of Melbourne graduating with a First class Honors Average and a GPA of 6.8out of a maximum of 7. I was a subjective representative as well. Following my undergraduate degree a spent an year of honors research with the aged care group at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. As a result of my research I was able to publish articles in reputable journals.

I am currently studying medicine at Flinders where some members of the faculty have let me know that I have been scoring in the top 10 % of students. I am a anatomy/dissection tutor for junior medical students as well

Hi, my name is Ips. I’m an undergraduate Biomedical Science student from the UK.

I am creative, adaptable, and forward-thinking, with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to develop and manage relationships.

I am an ambitious, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual looking to develop my academic skills in the professional world of healthcare and science. I am also a keen learner in all fields and aspects. Further to add, I am adept at public speaking and am receptive to change, and willing to learn and take on board exciting challenges.

I like writing and have written several unpublished short books and articles. Aside from my love of traveling, I also enjoy playing sports and reading. Hello! I’m Pearl, a second-year medicine student at Queen Mary, University of London. I’m passionate about anything science or art related! In my spare time, I love to read, paint or dance my heart away. I’m looking forward to getting involved in more research in the future and perhaps even fulfilling my dream of becoming a pediatrician:)

I’m quite passionate about helping other people and giving back to the community. Currently, I work with Inspire Foundation to help children with autism develop essential skills and improve their quality of life. In the past, I’ve helped other students prepare for their exams and fill out their applications for university. I am also a certified first-aider and work with ERRC to provide ambulance services at major events!

I’m looking forward to helping more students achieve their dreams through MedicMind:)

Hi I’m AJ, a Foundation Year 3 doctor with a love for teaching!

I am currently working part-time in the NHS as a locum doctor, anticipating starting GP training this upcoming August.

I live and work in the London area, always looking to spread scientific knowledge and advice through teaching medical & work experience students.

In 2021, myself and a colleague held an online teaching series over 8 weeks, with pre and post teaching questionnaires to try create the most effective e-teaching programme. This helped students gain access to regular, interactive teaching during a time where it was less available. The exam results and feedback were full of positive reflections and we felt very rewarded to provide support during a time of social distancing and reduced face to face learning opportunities.

I am currently a Doctoral student studying Clinical Neuroscience at the University Of Oxford . I have a great affinity for Neuroscience and Biology and am also passionateabout sharinge my knowledge in Biology. Furthermore, I have a good international background and am proficient in English, Chinese , and Cantonese ( also good in Japanese too) , don’t worry if you are not confident in English !

Having gone through A levels and the medicine application process, I understand how stressful and hard it is and I would like to guide students to achieve the best grades they can to get into their dream university.
