During my time in school and at university, I always believed in putting in my best and full efforts into all my subjects, and my modules, even the ones that didn’t interest me much! (In school, I had a GPA of 3.9, 7A*s in IGCSE OLevels, and I faired really well even in subjects like ICT, which were not my favorite! In uni of course, I loved studying economics and mathematics which led to my First Class Honors. And in terms of post grad, I’m pursuing a finance professional qualification, CFA, and the depth and difficulty of this has pushed me into a realm of discovering and ultimately crossing all my limitations in achieving success- I’m currently studying for the third level, having successfully completed the first and second).

I truly believe the best results are achieved when we push ourselves out of our comfort zones and challenge ourselves to be a better version of who we are. And I am passionate about guiding young souls into the best possible path for their education, learning and exploring their skills and helping them build new ones and hopefully allowing them to tap into the best version of themselves. My students always teach me new things as much as I teach them, I believe that their unwavering flames and zest for life needs to be carefully nurtured by their teachers and I hope to be someone who can be that person!

I’m Emily, currently studying at economics and management. I would love to support anyone who needs help in their academic journey, helping them succeed by imparting my knowledge at techniques. I achieved all grade 9s at GCSE, so know how to help students in a broad range of subjects. I also achieved all A*s in my A levels, and am still passionate about my A-level subjects.I try to be flexible in my approach to tutoring. For students who need more guidance, I offer structured lessons with detailed explanations. For more independent learners, I foster problem-solving and self-learning by guiding them through the process rather than simply giving answers. My goal is to adapt to each student’s pace and ensure they are confident in the material we cover. Also, I believe in continuous feedback and open communication, so I regularly check in with students to gauge their understanding and adjust my approach based on their progress.

I obtained a PhD in Economics. I have over 20 years of experience in teaching Economics, Statistics, and Maths online, having helped over 500 students. The level of the students I have helped includes GCSE, IB, A level, undergraduate and postgraduate.

Dr Michael was a Honorary Research Fellow of the Department of Economics at the Kingston University. He was also an Associate Professor of Finance at the Richmond American University London and Associate Lecturer of Economics and Statistics at the Open University. Dr Michael specializes in applied econometrics, quantitative finance and labour economics. He published books in economics and statistics, and academic articles in international journal. He was invited by the International University of Applied Sciences to develop a series of economics distance learning modules.

Passionate professional with mathematical finance and everything utilising mathematics. I hold a CQF with Distinction, an MSc in Economics from LSE, and currently work in applied financial engineering advisory, where I benchmark and validate exotic derivatives pricing models daily — from Bermudan options and callable bonds to inflation-linked swaps and Monte Carlo simulations.
My work sits at the intersection of quantitative theory and real-world application: building independent pricing models, calibrating volatility surfaces, computing CVA/DVA adjustments, and stress-testing credit risk frameworks. I also code actively in Python, C++, and VBA, and pursue personal research in stochastic expansion methods for exotic option pricing.

Hey there! I’m a Data Science graduate from the University of London/London School of Economics. My undergraduate studies focused on statistics, while my A-Levels and GCSEs were focused on the science subjects. I was a consistent high achiever since childhood, surpassing all my classmates academically and in extra-curricular activities, and I would enjoy clearing up the doubts of my peers both in school and university. I’m also a McKinsey Young Leaders program participant, working on social impact to upskill young people and make the world a better place. I am currently a freelance coder and I am keen on providing as much support as I can to students looking for help with the subjects I teach, not only enabling them to ace their exams, but also equipping them with the right study skills and inspiring a deeper interest that might go on to become a bigger passion later on.

Hi, I’m Alessandro! I studied PPE at St Edmund Hall, Oxford, where I graduated with a 2.1 in July 2022 and achieved the highest mark in the PPE cohort in the Econometrics finals paper. I was also awarded an Open Scholarship for academic excellence in my first year (2020). I recently completed a master’s degree in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics at LSE, graduating with a Distinction and ranking 2nd in my cohort, for which I was jointly awarded the Ely Devons Prize. Prior to university, I was one of 275 out of 86,826 students worldwide to achieve a score of 45 in the International Baccalaureate (HL Maths, Latin and Ancient Greek). I have provided end-to-end support to students applying to Oxford PPE, helping them write their personal statement and prepare for the TSA and interviews, so I am keenly aware of how intimidating the process can be and how it can be simplified. 2 of my students achieved offers to study PPE at Oxford in the latest admissions cycle. I have also worked with students taking IB Maths and participated in teaching community projects for 4 years. In my spare time, I enjoy running and ran the Brighton Marathon in 2022; I am also currently learning Spanish. I am very excited to share my passion for PPE and Maths with students and help them develop their self-confidence, subject knowledge and critical thinking skills so that they can achieve their academic goals. Hi! I grew up in Monmouth, a small town in South Wales, where I started tutoring year 9 students in Maths when I turned 16. When I left Wales to study Economics at LSE in London, I continued to tutor in Maths, Economics and Statistics – from year 9, all the way up to University level. I gained a high first from the LSE and specialised in Statistics, Econometrics, and Mathematics courses. After working in Finance for the past year, I will be starting my Masters in Artificial Intelligence at UCL in September, and am looking to find some part-time work to help me through the year. I really enjoy tutoring, as teaching and communicating constructs is something I feel comes naturally to me, and I get a lot of satisfaction from watching my students succeed.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy hockey, running, orienteering, and (a new-found passion of mine) Zumba.
