Riya
About Me
Hi, my name is Riya and I am a final year female Economics student at Leicester University.
I am experienced with 11+ and having been to a selective grammar school I have first hand experience of the admissions process. I have previously supported with UK SATS, 11+, Grammar School Admission Tests, GCSEs, A Levels and first year university students.
Working from the age of 16 as a swimming teacher, I am able to adapt and tailor sessions to your needs to help you achieve your personal goals. I am able to support with learning difficulties such as SEN, ADHD, ADD and dyslexic students.
As someone who has completed many interviews, I can support you through a range of business-related interview questions.
I look forward to working with you to find the best solution to achieve your goals.
My teaching style
I have experience tutoring younger students with GCSEs and A Levels. From my experience as a university hockey captain and working in banking, I am approachable and clear and can quickly understand students’ needs. My brother is dyslexic, and have supported him throughout his studies, so I am able to highlight issues for students who may have SEN concerns.
My Proudest Achievements
Teaching swimming from the age of 16 has made me focused and independent, whilst understanding the workplace.
Completing multiple summer internships, in the financial sector.
