I am Uday Modhwadia, a recent graduate of the prestigious University of Cambridge. Hi, my name is Minna and I am dedicated to helping aspiring medical students navigate the complex process of medical school applications. Having successfully gone through it myself, I have a good understanding of the medical school admissions process, the challenges and difficulties that students face, and the support and guidance that they require to make their application a ticket to success. With a strong track record of students receiving offers from various medical schools, I am confident that this could be you too. My focus is on personal statement and interview preparation, including mock interviews, as these are often the areas that students find most challenging and least prepared for.

I received an MBBS and BSc (1st class Honours) from Imperial College London School of Medicine. I have been involved in teaching for the past 6 years and am passionate about helping each individual reach their potential and help them establish a pathway towards their passion in medicine.

Hi! I am a second year medic at Lancaster Medical School. I am a bubbly, hard-working and friendly individual and will do the best I can in tutoring you. Here’s a little something that says why: throughout high-school I made sure to take up every opportunity to strengthen my skills as I could and there were many weeks where I would be volunteering 10 hours a week at 3 different placements; this wasn’t only placements in hospitals but also at language schools. This helped ensure my skills were more broader than those required for medical school.
I wasn’t always certain what my career path would look like, but the more time I spend at medical school the more sure I am on what I want to be, and most importantly who. I was given the opportunity to not just pursue a deeply loved passion of mine, but also medicine along side it! Yes, that’s right, this degree has helped me flourish as more than just a medical student, but also as a poet and a writer. I am an exceptional educator and experienced teacher of English language and Literature. I have a diverse background in teaching British qualifications, specifically Cambridge IGCSE, Edexcel International GCSE and IB. Currently, I am working with various groups of learners within the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum, including Year 11 EFL, Year 11 ESL (Core), Junior Secondary (following the Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint), and Cambridge International AS & A-Level (Literature in English). Additionally, I am a qualified CAIE Assessment Specialist Examiner for AS/A Level Literature in English 9695, AS/A Level English Language 9093 and First Language English 0500. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a student-centered learning environment that fosters independence, promotes diversity, and supports ongoing assessment and growth. I am well-versed in utilising resources and technology to enhance lessons, ensuring a secure subject knowledge for effective teaching.

MEng Aerospace Engineering graduate with 1st class honours from the University of Manchester. Passionate about all things planes, with a strong background in Mathematics and the Physical Sciences.

I have enjoyed my 4 years at university, gaining a solid academic foundation in the engineering sciences. Currently working towards entering a PhD programme to further my knowledge and to tame my curiosity.

Besides academia, I love playing the piano, having acquired the skill by ear. I enjoy a winter break in the Alps whenever time and my finances allow me to do so.

Hi 👋 I’m Kara, a History and Politics graduate from Brasenose college, Oxford! I am super passionate about all things History and Politics as well as International Relations, English literature and Economics. I am available to help students with a wide range of challenges, from Economics A-level to achieving full marks in an EPQ. Outside of studying, I enjoy travelling, reading fiction and all types of exercise, especially the gym and I am a firm believer in having a great work life balance. After studying independently for many months during the pandemic and missing GCSEs, I am in a unique position to understand the mental stress placed on high achieving students who have missed large parts of their education; as your tutor I will do everything I can to support you academically and emotionally.
