Hello there!

My name is Abbey, I’m a 3rd Year Vet Med student in the Graduate Entry programme at the University of Edinburgh. Before this degree, I completed my BSc in Veterinary Biosciences and an MRes of Parasite Control at Aberystwyth University.

Outside the classroom, I am very active, acting as captain of the vet school’s badminton team that competes monthly in the local league with weekly training. I also am one of the student ambassadors at vet school, so am very familiar with the runnings of the school.

I have been involved in several extracurricular activities since secondary school, ranging from Model United Nations, organising blood drives, to being the managing editor of the school newspaper just to name a few! This carried into my university years in my first degree, restarting the Animal & Veterinary Society and holding roles such as President, Vice-President and Secretary, and being a part of a 10-year consecutive winning dance team as well.

Hi I am Aanchal! Im a 3rd year medical student at the university of buckingham. I love teaching and tutoring and helping others gain knowledge for many reasons, most importantly the rewards of my students passing is like no other. I have tutored before and have been successful at it and as a tutor I am very flexible and friendly and am able to meet your needs to avoid disappointment. I was born raised in England but am interested in health in other countries as well. I have quite a bit of experience in the medical field and would love to share this knowledge as everyone should benefit. Hi 👋 I’m Kara, a History and Politics graduate from Brasenose college, Oxford! I am super passionate about all things History and Politics as well as International Relations, English literature and Economics. I am available to help students with a wide range of challenges, from Economics A-level to achieving full marks in an EPQ. Outside of studying, I enjoy travelling, reading fiction and all types of exercise, especially the gym and I am a firm believer in having a great work life balance. After studying independently for many months during the pandemic and missing GCSEs, I am in a unique position to understand the mental stress placed on high achieving students who have missed large parts of their education; as your tutor I will do everything I can to support you academically and emotionally. I hold an Upper Second Class Honours in my Master’s degree in Pharmacy and have been working in various pharmacy settings since the age of 19. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience across both NHS and private healthcare sectors, including placements and roles in general practice, hospital pharmacy, and community settings.
