Hello! I’m a recent graduate who has just finished my final year exams for a Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Business Analytics. I have a strong passion for mathematics and statistics, and I’m captivated by the fascinating field of data science! I also have experience teaching primary and secondary mathematics, which stems from my passion for the subject.
With a strong foundation in both theory and practical applications, I’m eager to share my expertise and help students navigate the exciting landscape of Mathematics, English and other key subjects. My academic background has equipped me with a deep understanding of statistical methods, data analysis, and the art of transforming raw data into actionable insights, which I hope to share with the students I teach.
I am dedicated to creating a learning environment that not only imparts knowledge but also makes the journey enjoyable and accessible to everyone.
I am an exceptional educator and experienced teacher of English language and Literature. I have a diverse background in teaching British qualifications, specifically Cambridge IGCSE, Edexcel International GCSE and IB. Currently, I am working with various groups of learners within the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum, including Year 11 EFL, Year 11 ESL (Core), Junior Secondary (following the Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint), and Cambridge International AS & A-Level (Literature in English). I am compassionate as I understand that not every family dynamic is the same and some students may face more difficulties. The big picture matters as all adults have a part to play in the social, mental and emotional development of each child.
Getting to know my students’ liked and dislikes is as important as their educational needs is important.
It’s necessary tk build rapport, garner trust and to enforce respect from them to me, and me to them. I encourage healthy boundaries so that the tutor-student relationship can thrive.
I am keen on discipline, if necessary, with the help of parents, but I am a massive fan of reward – both verbal, written and through prizes – and find it greatly encouraging for my students.
Lessons must be engaging, fun and worthwhile for all involved.
And clear communication is key and can be worked on.
