Hi there! My name is Zunaira Saeed and I am a Junior Doctor. I have been tutoring students for Medical Interviews, A-levels, and GCSEs for about 10 years now. I also teach GAMSAT, BMAT and Interviews for Australian Medical Universities. At A-Levels, I achieved 2 A* in Biology and Chemistry and A in Physics. At GCSEs, I secured 7A*1A. My lessons are personalized to the individual student according to their requirements with special focus on their weaknesses and I give my students enough time until they are able to clear their concepts and improve before we move on to the next topic. Recently, one of my students got 2 offers from Queen Mary and Sheffield and another received an offer from UEA. My aim is to contribute to Medic Mind’s goal of helping students get through the doors of medical school through my knowledge and teaching skills. My students have always been satisfied with their final results and I hope that I can meet your expectations and that you will have a wonderful learning experience with me.

Hello! My name is Anusha, and I am a Final year Graduate Entry Medical Student at Swansea University. I have also completed a degree in Population Health and Medical Sciences, so I have a good knowledge of public health issues and a solid grounding in Biology.

When I applied the first time, I received interviews for Undergraduate Medicine at Sheffield, Southampton, Bristol and Plymouth, and offers at Sheffield, Southampton and Plymouth. When I applied for Graduate Entry Medicine, I received interviews from Swansea and Nottingham (Grad Entry) and finally chose Swansea as my Medical School!

I have good experience with the UCAT and the GAMSAT, and in the GAMSAT I scored high enough to secure two interviews at highly competitive graduate medical schools, so I have a wealth of tips and tricks for these exams. I have been tutoring for over a year now, and my students have come out with great results.

During my spare time, I like to partake in Dance and Painting, both of which have helped me in maintaining a work life balance.

I am a final year medical student at Flinders University who is about to graduate soon. In addition, to studying medicine at Flinders I have also participated in extracurriculars such as university sports and medrevue, as stage manager. Medrevue which is a musical that is organized by medical students every year.

I moved to Australia 10 years ago and did not have much experience with their tertiary education system. However, my experiences with volunteering and private tutoring helped me build a network which later helped me gain useful advice when trying to seek admission into an undergraduate university course. I believe I would be of use to anyone who needs some mentoring while trying to navigate the tertiary education system in Australia.

The networks I was able to establish during the course of my undergraduate degree helped me a lot when trying to gain admission into medicine in Australia. I studied Bachelors of Biomedicine at University of Melbourne graduating with a First class Honors Average and a GPA of 6.8out of a maximum of 7. I was a subjective representative as well. Following my undergraduate degree a spent an year of honors research with the aged care group at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. As a result of my research I was able to publish articles in reputable journals.

I am currently studying medicine at Flinders where some members of the faculty have let me know that I have been scoring in the top 10 % of students. I am a anatomy/dissection tutor for junior medical students as well

I am a current Doctor in London. I recently completed my elective rotation at Stanford University in the USA with the Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery Faculty. I have recently graduated from St George’s in London this year and had posters and abstracts accepted at European surgical conferences while studying there. In addition to my NHS commitments, I work part time on the pitch at Tottenham Hotspur Football club as a groundsman. My previous degree was at Cardiff University where I was awarded a 2:1 in an integrated Masters of Chemistry (Hons) degree. I achieved 68% in my masters project based on the drug delivery capabilities of a metal organic hybrid framework. In my spare time I like to explore the different restaurants in London, catch up with friends and play football. I also enjoy skiing where I have competed in national competitions.

My name is Rebecca. I have an undergraduate degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Trinity College Dublin, where I specialised in Neuroscience. This academic foundation equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of core scientific principles and introduced me to specialized modules in psychology and psychiatry, enriching my perspective on the workings of the human brain.

Following my graduation, I spent a year working as a dental nurse in Dublin. This role provided me with invaluable clinical experience and firsthand exposure to patient care. Working closely with general dentists, orthodontists, periodontists, dental hygienists, and oral surgeons gave me a broad understanding of the diverse fields within healthcare. Through this, I gained practical insights into the benefits and challenges healthcare professionals encounter daily and developed essential skills in patient interaction and multidisciplinary teamwork.

My time in the healthcare environment, combined with my passion for science, inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. This decision was bolstered by my strong academic background, which served as a solid foundation for the GAMSAT exam, where my results exceeded my expectations.

In summary, my educational background in Neuroscience and practical experience as a dental nurse have collectively shaped my commitment to a future in medicine. These experiences have equipped me with both the academic knowledge and the interpersonal skills necessary to thrive as a healthcare professional and I am eager to use this experience to help others prepare for their medical school interviews, supporting them in achieving their own aspirations of entering the field of medicine.

Hi there! my name’s Paolo and I’m currently a 4th year medical student at the University of Newcastle, Australia.

I’ve also got two previous university degrees, with a Bachelor of Science in Immunobiology from the University of Sydney, and a Masters in Communication from Griffith University.

Before starting medicine, I also worked in medical administration and marketing communications for 6 years.

In my spare time, I’ve taught clinical skills to junior medical students and I’m also an avid photographer and hiker and I dabble in video editing and music production.

I’m also proud to say that I’m a mature-aged student and I’m from a rural background as well, spending all of primary school and some of high school in regional Victoria.

My journey up to this point has taught me the importance of not just having a strong knowledge base in the arts and sciences to pass exams like GAMSAT but also how to use skills in those fields as well as knowledge of your interests and life experiences to give a polished but natural performance in your interviews.

I also have a current paid working with children check and an Australian National Police check available on request.

    Hi there!

I’m Saad, a graduate medical student at St George’s University, currently in my fourth year (the university technically counts it as 4/5, since my graduate entry combined the first two years into one). I originally studied Accounting and Finance, so I know first-hand how challenging it can feel to leap into medicine from a completely different background.

At one point, I didn’t think it would even be possible, but with years of persistence, hard work, and determination, I was able to achieve my dream. Now, I want to help others who are aiming for the same goal, no matter their academic background. If you have the passion and drive for medicine, I believe it is possible and I want to help you get there.

I can provide guidance with the entire medical school application process, from writing a strong personal statement, to preparing for entry exams such as the UCAT and GAMSAT (both of which I sat myself), and finally interview preparation. Having been through it all, I know how overwhelming the process can feel, but with the right approach and support it becomes much more manageable.
Writing has always been a strong suit of mine, and it played a big part in my own success. I scored highly in the GAMSAT writing section, which I know many applicants struggle with, and I’d be keen to share the techniques and strategies that worked for me.

Alongside medicine, my accounting degree gave me a strong foundation in mathematics, a subject I’ve always enjoyed and have experience teaching in the past. I’ve also had a long-standing interest in psychology and religious studies, both of which I’d be confident teaching as well as the sciences.

Hi there! I’m Lily and I’m a final year graduate entry medical student at St Andrew’s University. I studied Molecular Medicine at undergraduate level at Trinity College, Dublin. Following on from this I moved to New York and worked as a research scientist in a cancer research lab at NYU. Whilst at NYU I was given my own research projects and had several scientific papers published. It was also during this time that my dream of becoming a doctor began as I interacted with doctors on a daily basis and realised I was more passionate and intrigued by their roles than working in a lab. I applied to graduate entry courses the following year and sat the UCAT and GAMSAT. I absolutely love studying medicine and have developed a special interest in Oncology. I want to be a tutor to enable you to achieve the results you want and allow you to start your journey on this fascinating and rewarding career path.

    100% SUCCESS RATE AT INTERVIEW

    Over 170+ hours taught!!

My name is Jane and I am a 4th year medic at Southampton.

I applied to study medicine as a graduate after having studied Bsc Biomedical Science. I graduated this in 2021 with a 1st Class Honours and applied to medical school in my final year – thus I know how to juggle a few things!

I studied for both UCAT and interviews by myself, achieving 2810 in my exam and around ~3100 in my practice exams. I am able to help and coach UCAT as well as go through practice questions and give tips and tricks. I can help you all with all sections of UCAT to build your confidence and smash the exam.

In my interviews I received interviews from HYMS and Uni of Southampton, to which I got offers from both. I passed both interviews with flying colours and was able to conduct this with confidence!

Re my personal statement, I was able to write my PS confidently, having a structured approach which I can help you all with and share with you.

I hope I can help you with your medicine applications to receive as many offers as you can with enthusiasm and confidence.

Honestly the best support and better resources than I could've hoped for. Zunaira has a really focused and well grounded way to her that she would ask me the question, listen to my waffle then add a bit of NHS pillar here, a bit of GDC standard there, a bit of better phrasing here, a bit of own experience and reflection there and all of a sudden I have this excellent answer from what I said. She starts by taking you through all the standards, NHS hot topics, ethical issues with a scenario each then assess your performance at each step till you manage to develop a consistent structure for your answer, and the way she does it feels very rewarding too; the more sincere and advanced your answer becomes (she focuses on both) the more enjoyable the whole thing would feel. And role plays! Zunaira can be rather brutal in these😁 Discussing topics in a clinical or ethical scenario is one thing and trying to have a decent conversation with an annoying role play actor is a totally different thing, and you don't find much support for these online. Zunaira really put me in the worst and most awkward situations and would show me how to deal with them. I ended up having two role plays in my interview and I'm so grateful for her style. 9 hours of tutoring and I couldn't recommend her more!
