I am a current Doctor in London. I recently completed my elective rotation at Stanford University in the USA with the Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery Faculty. I have recently graduated from St George’s in London this year and had posters and abstracts accepted at European surgical conferences while studying there. In addition to my NHS commitments, I work part time on the pitch at Tottenham Hotspur Football club as a groundsman. My previous degree was at Cardiff University where I was awarded a 2:1 in an integrated Masters of Chemistry (Hons) degree. I achieved 68% in my masters project based on the drug delivery capabilities of a metal organic hybrid framework. In my spare time I like to explore the different restaurants in London, catch up with friends and play football. I also enjoy skiing where I have competed in national competitions.

My name is Rebecca. I have an undergraduate degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Trinity College Dublin, where I specialised in Neuroscience. This academic foundation equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of core scientific principles and introduced me to specialized modules in psychology and psychiatry, enriching my perspective on the workings of the human brain.

Following my graduation, I spent a year working as a dental nurse in Dublin. This role provided me with invaluable clinical experience and firsthand exposure to patient care. Working closely with general dentists, orthodontists, periodontists, dental hygienists, and oral surgeons gave me a broad understanding of the diverse fields within healthcare. Through this, I gained practical insights into the benefits and challenges healthcare professionals encounter daily and developed essential skills in patient interaction and multidisciplinary teamwork.

My time in the healthcare environment, combined with my passion for science, inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. This decision was bolstered by my strong academic background, which served as a solid foundation for the GAMSAT exam, where my results exceeded my expectations.

In summary, my educational background in Neuroscience and practical experience as a dental nurse have collectively shaped my commitment to a future in medicine. Hi there! my name’s Paolo and I’m currently a 4th year medical student at the University of Newcastle, Australia.

I’ve also got two previous university degrees, with a Bachelor of Science in Immunobiology from the University of Sydney, and a Masters in Communication from Griffith University.

Before starting medicine, I also worked in medical administration and marketing communications for 6 years.

In my spare time, I’ve taught clinical skills to junior medical students and I’m also an avid photographer and hiker and I dabble in video editing and music production.

I’m also proud to say that I’m a mature-aged student and I’m from a rural background as well, spending all of primary school and some of high school in regional Victoria.

My journey up to this point has taught me the importance of not just having a strong knowledge base in the arts and sciences to pass exams like GAMSAT but also how to use skills in those fields as well as knowledge of your interests and life experiences to give a polished but natural performance in your interviews.

I’m Saad, a graduate medical student at St George’s University, currently in my fourth year (the university technically counts it as 4/5, since my graduate entry combined the first two years into one). I originally studied Accounting and Finance, so I know first-hand how challenging it can feel to leap into medicine from a completely different background.

At one point, I didn’t think it would even be possible, but with years of persistence, hard work, and determination, I was able to achieve my dream. Now, I want to help others who are aiming for the same goal, no matter their academic background. If you have the passion and drive for medicine, I believe it is possible and I want to help you get there.

I can provide guidance with the entire medical school application process, from writing a strong personal statement, to preparing for entry exams such as the UCAT and GAMSAT (both of which I sat myself), and finally interview preparation. Having been through it all, I know how overwhelming the process can feel, but with the right approach and support it becomes much more manageable.
Writing has always been a strong suit of mine, and it played a big part in my own success. I scored highly in the GAMSAT writing section, which I know many applicants struggle with, and I’d be keen to share the techniques and strategies that worked for me.

Alongside medicine, my accounting degree gave me a strong foundation in mathematics, a subject I’ve always enjoyed and have experience teaching in the past. I’ve also had a long-standing interest in psychology and religious studies, both of which I’d be confident teaching as well as the sciences.

Hi there! I’m Lily and I’m a final year graduate entry medical student at St Andrew’s University. I studied Molecular Medicine at undergraduate level at Trinity College, Dublin. Following on from this I moved to New York and worked as a research scientist in a cancer research lab at NYU. Whilst at NYU I was given my own research projects and had several scientific papers published. It was also during this time that my dream of becoming a doctor began as I interacted with doctors on a daily basis and realised I was more passionate and intrigued by their roles than working in a lab. I applied to graduate entry courses the following year and sat the UCAT and GAMSAT. I absolutely love studying medicine and have developed a special interest in Oncology. I want to be a tutor to enable you to achieve the results you want and allow you to start your journey on this fascinating and rewarding career path.

My name is Jane and I am a 4th year medic at Southampton.

I applied to study medicine as a graduate after having studied Bsc Biomedical Science. I graduated this in 2021 with a 1st Class Honours and applied to medical school in my final year – thus I know how to juggle a few things!
