About Me
Hi,
My name is Stephanie and I am a Final year graduate entry student at the University of St Andrews.
I gained all A’s at ALEVEL and GCSE’s. I then completed an undergraduate degree from the University of Lancaster in Biological science with a minor in french.
I understand the struggle of getting into medicine and how hard each step can be.
I took a gap year before my undergraduate degree and have given tuition to individuals and small groups of students for the last few years at different levels and offer friendly, relaxed lessons individually tailored exactly to what the tutee requires.
I am heavily interested in research and how to transform key research findings into translational outcomes which can improve the lives of patients and become embedded into bed side care.
In my spare time I play the piano and enjoy open water swimming. I think it does wonders for stress levels. Feel free to talk to me about managing stress levels :).
My teaching style
I have a hybrid style of teaching and able to be flexible to meet demand of the student. I like a mixture of demonstrating where I provide an example of what might be a good approach and the tutee can gain ideas on how to approach the question. I also like facilitating tutees to reach the answer themselves. I am here to guide.
