Having always had an affinity for the ocean, I began working towards my goal of being a marine biologist from an early age. During my three years of tutoring and classroom teaching I have found that the enthusiasm I bring to learning leads to curiosity, which in turn leads to positive habits of pursing knowledge and challenges the mindset that studying is a chore. Hi, my name is Anindita (or Ani) and I recently graduated from Cambridge, where I studied Natural Sciences.
I studied a really broad range of subjects in my first year at Cambridge – Maths, Physics, Cell Biology, and Evolution & Behaviour. Though I applied to Cambridge as a physical natural scientist, I actually ended up specialising in Zoology in my final year, and am now about to start a MSc in Ecology and Data Science from UCL. I aspire to become a conservation scientist!

I really loved my time at university, and was active in several different societies, especially my college’s boat club. I am happy to help with personal statements for Oxbridge, as well as with NSAA and interview prep for Cambridge.

I worked as a mentor with Causeway Education where I help year 13 students with their UCAS applications and personal statements.

As I have studied (and am still studying) university level Chemistry and Biology and have tutored multiple students, I have experience with and am confident with most exam boards. With Maths and Physics, I have mostly taught Edexcel and AQA but I am a quick learner. I can research the exam board and the specification to find the best strategy to teach that specification. I have also completed GAMSAT for graduate entry medicine with a score in the top 13%, so if you need help with this entrance exam, let me know!

i am A-Level Biology teacher with International 10 years’ experience of teaching Biology to IGCSE/AS/A2
