Accommodation for participants will be organized at UCL Accommodation, providing individual rooms with breakfast and dinner included. Your stay will begin from Sunday night, the day before the course starts, and conclude on the final day of the course (Friday), totaling six nights. The premises are equipped with 24/7 security, and our Study Mind staff, trained in first aid and safeguarding, will be on-site to offer assistance. Additionally, arrangements for airport pick-up can be coordinated for your convenience.

Participants in the Young Forensic Scientist Experience in the UK are required to obtain a Standard Visitor visa, accessible through https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor.

Parents/guardians are responsible for submitting the £100 visa application via the UK Gov website. Throughout the application process, you can designate our course and Study Mind as the guardians of under-18s, providing the necessary course information and booking confirmation.

To avoid complications, we recommend booking flights before applying for the visa, as proof of a return flight is required (the course end date might suffice, but this could result in rejection).
