1st YearHello my name is Heidi and I am currently doing a Masters in Music Management at the University of Leeds. Recently, I have just finished my undergraduate degree in Music at the University of Bristol. Before this, I undertook my A-Levels in 2020 and received offers from all the universities I applied for (Durham, York, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Bristol).
I am passionate about music and getting people to think “outside the box”. I have a wide variety of skills which I incorporate into my teaching styles and personality. As someone who regularly performs as a classical singer, I have great public speaking skills, creativity as well as professionalism which music has taught me. As someone with ADD, I have unique methods to making information stick and always keep persevering to reach my goals.
As the Employability lead at the University of Leeds for the school of music, I am also passionate about helping people follow their dreams and help with CV work, portfolio advice as well as just talking through plans. As people in school didn’t understand what careers Music can provide, I am passionate about proving that skills are transferable, rather than sticking into one degree speciality.
I am not your typical music student, as I believe in a holistic approach to learning and tackling problems. I always find new tactics until I succeed effectively.
