Senushi
About Me
Hello! I’m Senushi, a medical student and computational neuroscience researcher driven by a passion for making complex science accessible and exciting. My academic journey has been defined by a commitment to excellence, having ranked #1 overall in my medical school selection process. I achieved a near-perfect 299/300 in Edexcel IAL Chemistry, which placed me as a potential world-first ranker, and I hold A* grades in both Biology and Physics.
Beyond the classroom, I am deeply involved in the future of medicine through AI-driven neurotechnology. My work in predictive AI for brain health has won global competitions, including being named the Overall Winner at the DevNetwork Hackathon among hundreds of professional engineers. Whether I am discussing sleep biomarkers or astronaut cognitive health for NASA, I believe that every student has the potential to master difficult subjects when given the right tools. I founded Stardust Academy to mentor students globally, and I am excited to bring that same dedication to helping you reach your highest academic goals.
My teaching style
My teaching style is highly personalized and “offline-first,” meaning I focus on building a deep, intuitive understanding of core concepts before moving to complex problem-solving. I utilize my background in neuroscience to apply evidence-based learning techniques, such as active recall and spaced repetition, to help students retain information for the long term. I break down intimidating topics—like organic chemistry or signal processing—into manageable, logical steps. My goal is to foster a supportive environment where students feel confident asking “why” until the logic clicks perfectly.
My past experience
Yes, I have extensive experience as an independent STEM mentor, delivering structured one-on-one sessions in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I have served as a Physics Teacher at Future Leader’s International College and a Science Teacher at Shine Institute, covering various curricula including Cambridge, Edexcel, and IGCSE. Additionally, I founded and lead Stardust Academy, where I have scaled STEM mentorship to over 1,000 students across 20 countries.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievements include ranking #1 for my medical school intake and winning the DevNetwork Hackathon globally. I am also honored to be a fully-funded APFSD Youth Forum scholar representing the Asia-Pacific at the UN and receiving the NASA Space Apps “Galactic Problem Solver” award.
