About Me
As a graduate of the University of Bolton with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, I am excited to apply for a tutoring position. Throughout my academic career, I have developed a deep passion for teaching and mentoring students. With my extensive knowledge and experience in my field, combined with my enthusiasm for helping others learn, I am confident that I can make a positive impact on my students’ academic journeys.
As a tutor, I believe in creating a supportive and collaborative learning environment where students can feel comfortable asking questions and engaging in meaningful discussions. My goal is to help my students not only understand the subject matter but also develop critical thinking skills that they can apply in their future studies and careers.
I have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and with different learning styles, and I am committed to adapting my teaching approach to meet each student’s unique needs. I am confident that I can provide a high level of academic support to help my students achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
My teaching style
The authority style, delegator style, facilitator style, demonstrator style and the hybrid style are my teaching methods in which I will use resources of both MedicMind and my personal resources collected during my application to support students to effectively prepare for their exams. Throughout the sessions, I will use various mock, past papers and practice questions to give student the opportunity to practice their knowledge and to learn their weaknesses.
My past experience
I have taught at a local high school for 3 months and worked as a medic tutor for various platforms in previous years. I am also President for PeerMed Tutoring Society at my medical school and very keen to help all students by sharing resources, techniques and detailed concept explanations for GCSE, A-level, UCAT, BMAT and most importantly Med Interviews. I also have expereince teaching UCAT to foreign students (mostly from Australia, New Zealand and various foreign countries).
My Proudest Achievements
I received 4 interviews from top US law schools and 3 offers from my dream law schools across UK. I scored exceptionally well in both GCSE, A-level. Throughout my studies, I have continued to obtain exceptionally well for my semester exams. Running different societies as a President role in the past is also a protest achievement which I am proud of.
