About Me
Hello, my name is Fatimah and I am currently in my third year of medicine. I have been helping students get into medical school for the past 3 years and it has truly been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life!
I am friendly, patient and committed to helping you succeed. I have a strong academic background and I am very passionate about teaching others and helping them achieve their goals. I hope to inspire confidence in my students and see them flourish. I will always try to go above and beyond to help you get the best results.
I can explain difficult concepts clearly. I provide highly critical feedback to make sure you are standing out from the rest. I have experience reviewing personal statements and acting as an examiner in mock MMI interviews. I have also trained a large number of students for medical interviews.
The medical school admissions process can be very intimidating, but with the right strategies and techniques I think anyone can do it, and there is so much guidance that I would love to share to help you succeed too!
My teaching style
My teaching style can be best described as interactive, supportive and reflective. Each student has different needs, so I prefer an individualised approach to teaching. I will clearly outline the students goals as well as what they expect from me. Then, I devise a plan which includes regular practice and feedback to evaluate our progress.
My past experience
I have previous teaching experience as a peer mentor for 4 years helping students in school with difficult concepts. I have helped many students with their medical school applications over the past 2 years which have been very successful. In addition to this, I am part of the student led teaching society at my university.
