2About Me
Hello,
This is Ash. I am a recent graduate from Anglia Ruskin University where I finished my Msc in Accounting and Finance. I also cleared my Investment Advise Diploma from the CISI.
My mom has been a teacher for the past 30 years and she is one of the sources of inspiration for me.
I have always enjoyed tutoring students along with her and I hope to do the same through Studymind.
I am currently working as a manager at William Hill and as an investment analyst intern at a Family office.
I am smart, focused, and a very ambitious individual. Before coming to UK for my Masters, I used to work in Amazon as a transaction risk investigator. With around 3 years of corporate working experience and a masters, I believe that progress and learning can never stop.
Apart from this, I am very passionate about studying geopolitical paradigm shifts and any intriguing documentaries.

My teaching style
I believe in story telling and the influence it has over humans when it comes to learning about things.
Empathy is a vital skill which is very crucial in tutoring as no two students are the same.
Above two skills form the integral part of my tutoring style.
It is about fragmenting tasks and daily emphasis and progress for the desired results.
My past experience
I tutored with my mother for 5 years but it is informal and unaccounted.
I have worked under Genext in India where I home tutored students for an year.
My Proudest Achievements
I cleared my Investment Advice Diploma with one of the best scores in the country – 88.75%
I also cleared my Msc in Accounting and Finance with a distinction.
The thing I am proud about is that I did both at the same time, which asked for tremendous discipline and work ethic.
I have gotten a standing ovation for my presentation on annual performance review assignment for an FTSE100 company during my Masters amongst other things.
