Hi, I’m Michael Ota, a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for making the teaching accessible, relevant, and exciting for students.
I graduated with a 2:1 B.Sc (Hons) in Economics before completing my PGDE (Postgraduate Diploma in Education), gaining the Teacher Status and experience to help deliver engaging lessons that help students achieve strong results. I particularly love teaching at GCSE level, where I can spark that first real interest in how the economy works, English Language usage and creativity in the language as well as at A-Level and professional qualifications (ACT, BT, A’Level), where I enjoy diving deeper into real-world experiences.
Right now I’m studying for an MSc in Artificial Intelligence in Business at the University of Salford. I am interested in helping sixth-formers, or professional learners understand their subject properly, I’m excited to be at the intersection of economics (Business Studies) Language education(English Language, English Literature), and innovation (I.T skills).
What drives me every day is seeing students and professionals gain confidence.
