11About Me
Hi, I am Hana and I’m in my 2nd year of medical school at Leicester. I would love to be your tutor to help you achieve your goals! I have tutored for two years and have enjoyed interacting with my students, sharing my knowledge and creating a safe and empowering learning environment for them.
I know very well that overwhelming feeling of juggling A-levels and preparing for a medicine application or even juggling multiple subjects at GCSE. Whilst it was a journey, I have finally made it and want to help you through yours too!
When I’m not doing all things medicine, I love spending my time doing art, wholesome activities with my friends and family as well as focusing on my physical and spiritual wellness.
I am excited to learn more about you and your goals with tutoring so that I can provide engaging and productive sessions for you!
My teaching style
My lessons are focused around prioritising your needs and wishes as every student is different. Each lesson I will start by checking up on how you’re feeling, what you want to gain from the session and address any misunderstandings or concerns in regards to your learning. We will also do a quick quiz style review of previous content covered. After that the lesson is mostly directed as you wish and we can unravel how best you learn. We may focus on exam preparation or perhaps covering a topic you are struggling with. This will also be dependent on what stage you are at in the academic year, for example the lesson will focus a lot more on exam practice and application if exams are approaching.
My past experience
I have been privately tutoring for two years! Therefore I have some experience which will hopefully be valuable for our lessons.
My Proudest Achievements
I think I am most proud of achieving a place at medical school and especially getting an A* in History.
I am also proud of my team for winning an award as part of the wings of hope charity project!
