Aman
About Me
I am Aman, in my first year at King’s College London. I am a dynamic and self driven individual. Alongside being a student and an active part of student Union, I volunteer for Army Cadets and St John Ambulance. Being able to manage these different activities have taught me excellent time-management and skills to tackle challenging situations. These transferable skills are reflected in my personality and are highlighted by my students too. I am a strong advocate for mental health and passionately speak about it.
My academic interests are quite varied as I am hugely interested in medical research areas such as oncology and applications of artificial intelligence.
I enjoy nature, greenery and long walks. On a sunny day, I can be found cycling or soaking sun with a book. On the creative side, I enjoy painting and writing.
My teaching style
My teaching style prioritises engagement with students to enable their understanding and application of knowledge, concepts and processes. My teaching is highly student-centred and driven, to ensure lessons are structured to suit students’ abilities and personal preferences.
During my lessons, I will develop a supportive and open environment where students can excel. This will help my students to become confident and independent learners.
My past experience
I have 3+ years of teaching experience with students from KS2 to KS5, including SEN students and students from different backgrounds.
My Proudest Achievements
Being in a position, where I am positively influencing the lives of so many young people. I am able to help them reach their potential and develop their love for learning.
