I am a passionate and committed second-year Computer Science with AI student at Birmingham City University, currently holding a First-Class standing in my first year. With extensive tutoring experience in Maths, Computer Science, and STEM subjects, I have developed a strong aptitude for adapting lessons to meet the unique needs of SEN and SEMH learners. My approach focuses on engaging students through personalized, curriculum-aligned instruction that fosters confidence and enjoyment in learning.
My teaching style
My teaching style is highly adaptive and student-centered, prioritizing the individual learning needs of SEN and SEMH students. I emphasize creating a supportive and structured environment where learners feel valued and motivated. By using tailored lesson plans, interactive resources, and clear, simplified concepts, I build strong rapport with students and encourage their academic and personal growth through encouragement and patience.
My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest achievements has been working as an SEN tutor delivering personalized one-to-one support that has significantly boosted student confidence and progression in Maths and Computer Science. Additionally, I represented over 80 students as a Course Representative, actively collaborating with university staff to influence curriculum enhancements. My leadership roles, including House Captain and Student Leader, have honed my abilities in mentoring and organizing events to support peers with diverse needs.
