About Me
My name is Joshua and I am a 4th year Medical student studying in Ireland. I am from Harrow, London. During my years at sixth form, I developed a keen sense for teaching. It started with having to explain physics to my colleagues and I soon discovered that teaching was a discipline I was very much passionate about.
Since my time at medical school, I have tutored several students in A-level biology, chemistry and mathematics. I also have experience in tutoring several students in the BMAT, HPAT and the UCAT, many of which have been successful in obtaining a place in Irish and British medical schools.
I have experience in applying to medical schools in the UK and Ireland and have a deep understand of what the process and the requirements for each. I will be able to help you with your interview and personal statement as I have aided several past students in writing their personal statements be it for medicine or other programmes.
I look forward to tutoring students and helping them achieve their potential! Thank you 🙂
My teaching style
I am a very hands on teacher who will very much involve the student in the learning process. Instead of having the student listen to me explain concept for hours on end, I would much rather use an approach which involves the student actively having to come up with solutions to a given problem and in doing so will be able to understand key concepts and remember then much better.
