6About Me
Hello. My name is Alice Waithaka. I am thrilled to introduce myself to you as your potential tutor. I have a bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science from Maseno University. Although I am a trained medic, teaching comes naturally to me. I am passionate and enjoy teaching. I have tutored most of my life even to my fellow student and even those junior to me. I believe that every person has the potential and is capable of achieving their academic goals. My role as a tutor is to help and guide my students towards realising the potential within them and to show them how exactly to apply it toward realising their goals.
My area of specialisation is science, specifically biology, chemistry, biochemistry, forensic science, and biomedical. I look forward to helping you realise your goals in the above subjects and beyond.
My teaching style
I employ student centred approach in that, my first goal is to understand the needs of my student. I then demonstrate to student by addressing specific needs in a subject and encourage the student to actively engage in the leaning process.
My Proudest Achievements
I tutored a student who believed science and chemistry were difficult subjects to achieving As in the subjects in her national exams.
