Hello everyone! I am Sienna, first year Vet student at the University of Edinburgh. I am very keen to help students with personal statements, academic tutoring and vet school interviews.
I achieved 8 9s in GCSES and A*AA in A Levels, Biology, Chemistry, Maths. I still have my previous notes I made during my studies so I can also offer those as extra sources during lessons. I’m very keen on improving your sciences, especially tutoring in Biology and Chemistry, and will go through tricky topics so you are more than ready in time for exams!
For those thinking of/ have applied to vet school, I’m also very keen to help you ace the interviews and get your offer. I achieved all 5 of my University offers and I am well prepared for MMI and panel interview styles. Looking back it was definitely a difficult journey but with the correct support you will definitely make it- it’s so worth it!

My teaching style
My teaching style focuses on helping each student as a separate individual, as I believe everyone learns differently and at their own pace. I am also very friendly and hope to develop a positive relationship with my student so they’re completely comfortable asking me questions they might have, as no question is a silly question!
I think the key to success is having the confidence to discuss problems and think aloud. I will aim to achieve with my students and help develop these, as they are important skills for the future as well.
My past experience
I have tutored Biology and Chemistry GCSE, and have also worked at a special needs local primary school teaching one of the students beginner piano.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement would be getting all my 4/4 offers for studying Veterinary Medicine at university, and achieving A*AA at A Levels. I worked hard for it and it has definitely paid off! I am very keen on helping others achieve the same.
I was also Head Girl at my school and I really enjoyed that as well.
