About Me

Hello there, my name is Sam and I’m a second year medical student at St Georges. I am very familiar with the struggles of the UCAT and medical school preparation, and so I am passionate about helping people achieve their dreams of getting in. I am friendly, kind, approachable and enthusiastic about teaching. I like to build a strong partnership with my students so that they feel as confident as possible throughout there application process. I quite enjoy the nature of the UCAT and the problem solving aspect of it, however I am rather understanding that it may not be too enjoyable for students who are under immense time pressure and pressure in general (a position I was also once in!).

If you choose to work with me, I will make sure not only are you best prepared to sit the exam, but your confident and relaxed going in, something which is extremely important.

My teaching style

I like to identify my students weaknesses to start with. We will build on these weaknesses every session. The UCAT is all about time management, and so I will teach a range of time management tactics. We will go through questions together, tackling them one at a time, and build confidence while employing a range of special techniques. Especially for VR, there is a lot I can teach you.
