About Me
I’m an experienced tutor with over 8 years of teaching, including 6 years exclusively online. I specialise in 11+, ISEB and GCSE preparation, helping students build strong foundations, develop exam technique and gain confidence in their learning. I take a calm, structured approach, tailoring lessons to each student’s needs and making sure they feel supported while being challenged. I enjoy helping students understand tricky concepts, practise strategically and achieve results they can be proud of. I also focus on building long-term learning skills, encouraging students to become independent and confident learners.
Outside tutoring, I enjoy running and staying active. I’ve completed both a half and a full marathon, and I try to bring the same curiosity, dedication and perseverance into my lessons. I look forward to helping students reach their goals and develop a love for learning.
My teaching style
My teaching style is structured, calm and supportive. I believe students make the most progress when they feel secure in their understanding, so I focus first on building strong foundations before developing exam technique and confidence.
For example, I recently worked with a student preparing for entrance exams who felt overwhelmed by comprehension papers. By breaking down question types, modelling clear structures and gradually introducing timed practice, their confidence improved significantly, along with their results.
With over 6 years of exclusively online tutoring experience, I am confident in delivering focused, well-paced lessons using targeted resources and past papers. I adapt my approach to each student by identifying gaps early and creating a clear, manageable plan to address them.
My aim is not only to improve grades, but to help students feel capable, independent and prepared. I look forward to supporting new students in reaching their goals.
My past experience
I have over 8 years’ experience tutoring, including 6 years of exclusively online tutoring.
My Proudest Achievements
I’m proud of completing a half-marathon and a full marathon. It took a lot of hard work and determination, but finishing them felt really rewarding.
