Hi, I’m Uvini! .I achieved 8 A passes in my Ordinary Level exams and successfully passed my Advanced Levels, which allowed me to gain admission to a government university in Sri Lanka. I completed my Bachelor’s degree with strong academic results and was proud to be on the Dean’s List in both 2019 and 2020. Most recently, I completed my Master’s degree in Big Data Analytics at Robert Gordon University in the UK. These achievements reflect my dedication, academic discipline, and passion for learning. I’m originally from Sri Lanka and recently moved to Australia. I have a strong academic background with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics and a Master’s in Big Data Analytics. I have more than 3 years of experience working as a Data Analyst and tutoring students in maths. I love teaching and helping students gain confidence in their maths skills. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and focused on making difficult topics easier to understand. I explain concepts step-by-step and adjust my lessons to suit your pace and goals. Whether you’re preparing for exams, catching up, or aiming for higher marks, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I believe everyone can do well in maths with the right guidance!

My past experience
Yes, I have past experience in tutoring mathematics, both formally and through social initiatives. I was actively involved in a community-focused education project called the Zest Program, where I volunteered as a maths tutor for underprivileged students. This initiative aimed to support school-aged children who lacked access to quality education. I delivered engaging and personalized lessons, focusing on building strong foundational skills and boosting student confidence. Through this project, I developed a deep understanding of how to adapt my teaching methods to suit different learning styles and levels. It was a truly rewarding experience that strengthened my passion for teaching and helping others succeed through education.
