About Me
Hello! My name is Haru and I’m an international student studying pharmacology at King’s College London. I’ve had experience tutoring lower year students, and it’s been rewarding for me to see them improve in their academics. I am sure that you too will be able to display your full academic potential with the right support!
Just a little bit about my self: I am originally from Japan, but moved to India for 6 years from grade 2 to 8. Back in Japan, I took IBDP and am very familiar with the science and maths syllabuses since my higher level subjects were chemistry, biology, and maths AI. I am also a native Japanese speaker and a former IB Japanese student, so I can definitely teach you that as well! A lot of my friends describe me as the hard worker, the athlete, the musician, or the typical Kpop fanboy, and I would love to know what kind person you are as well! Looking forward to seeing you 🙂
My teaching style
My teaching style is simple: we work on the concept, and work with questions on that topic. However, I will take time with you to understand your preferred teaching method, and make changes to my teaching style accordingly. Most importantly, I will try to make your lessons engaging; not like a boring 1 to 1 tutoring session, but rather like a friends study session!
