About Me
Hi, I’m Sukirthan, a dedicated Newcastle University medical student passionate about helping others achieve academic success. I understand that learning can be challenging, and no single approach works for everyone. That’s why I tailor my teaching to fit your unique learning style, making it easier and more enjoyable for you to grasp concepts and excel in your studies.
What I Offer:
Day By Day UCAT roadmap with daily tasks that I personally used to score a UCAT that enabled me and
multiple of my peers to gain entry into medicine and dentistry.
Clear interview guidance based upon the university you have applied to, mock interviews and valuable
feedback.
Patient, clear, and supportive guidance every step of the way.
A focus on building your mindset and mastering the material.
My goal is to help you not only learn but thrive academically by finding the method that works best for you. Let’s work together to achieve your goals and make learning a rewarding experience!
My teaching style
My teaching style is very curated towards the student and the weaknesses I have identified in them. I run weekly or twice a week classes depending on the student’s availability and need for classes. These sessions will be 1-2 hours in length with opportunities for the student to both understand new content and have an opportunity to practice the content. I give importance to homework as well, setting clearly outlined tasks between lessons that will ensure to keep the student on track to their goal whatever that may be.
My past experience
Yes, I have tutored for around 3.5 years teaching a variety of subjects including Senior Highschool students for science and math subjects, UCAT and younger secondary school students helping them prepare for comptetitive select entry highschool exams.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievements would be my UCAT, 3120, my ATAR, 96.55 but also my students’ successes in their school assessments, with only one of them scoring below an A+ in one assessment and my current UCAT student boosting their score from a 1700 start to a 2500 average in mocks.
