My name is Alex and I am a recent Oxford graduate and French and Spanish tutor with 5 years experience. I am fully fluent in both languages (the former the subject I studied at Oxford, and the latter my first language which I also achieved top grades in both GCSE and A-Level examinations). I make sure to keep my lessons engaging, with a focus not only on securing the best grades, but on the applicability of these languages to advance in later work life or even if just visiting the countries in which they are spoken. I make sure to put a focus on interactivity in each lesson, speaking largely in the chosen language to advance both listening and speaking skills almost subconsciously whilst teaching the other content (e.g. grammar and comprehension for example). I am very passionate about learning languages and love to share that passion with keen students, working hard to keep the lessons engaging and energy filled which is sometimes needed after a long day/ week at school 🙂
